Its location in the santana row is perfect. As far as the merchandise is concerned, its does seem to be laid out ok. We went to buy a portable dvd player and did not know which one to pick although we had a few brands in mind. The employee we asked questions was quite knowledgeble and even explained to us the technical details of some of the players.

I like this best buy because it is very big and in a convenient location. They have a large selection of products. You can almost find everything you need here. They are friendly and willing to help you. The service is definitely better than fry's. But their price is often more expensive than fry's or compusa. So it depends on what you need. If you want good service, come to best buy. If you want cheap product, you should choose fry's.

I was happy with the service that the best buy in San Jose provided for me. They weren't able to approve my credit application but they denied me very gracefully.

You can get anything from a CD to a washer and dryer. They have a rewards program so every dollar you spend you get credit and they send you gift certificates. If you spend alot of money on electronics or even need to upgrade the stuff you have you should get the rewards program.

I love Best Buy and I've never had a problem with them. Their sales associates don't work on commission so they often will recommend a better product (even if it costs less). Also, they have all kinds of no-interest financing deals on their credit card. They have a lot of open box items that you can get the regular warranty on, so you're getting a product much cheaper, but you still have a good warranty. I highly recommend Best Buy. Their store can be a bit noisy at times but it's well worth it. Any problems I had were fixed quickly.

Best Buy has some pretty good deals on some electronics and stuff. It has a great variety of products and the staff is pretty helpful. If you need anything from a TV to a computer to a video camera, this is the place to go to!

This particular Best Buy is huge, despite it's size you can usually find someone to help you. The knowledge of the employees ranges form not at all to very knowledgeable. Thier prices are fair to great and they generally have what you are looking for.
PROS: Huge variety, somewaht helpfull clerks, good prices
CONS: Clerks not always kowledgeable

I like best buy, I think this is one of the best places to purchase electronics. I like the to purchase at the best price, so generally I end up purchasing online, at best buy or at Fry's. I like to shop at Best Buy since they tend to have a good selection and the store is set up to be like a store rather than a warehouse like Fry's.
The Best Buy at Santana Row is small and has very little space. They have an escalator in order to fit all the merchandise they sell and be able to display it. They do sell out often, but you could go to Milpitas if you reallt needed it. Go online and use their inventory search in order to be sure your item is at this location before fighting the parking lot.
This best buy is in the best location (before the sunnyvale one opens). It is next to Valley Fair as well so you can shop for your electronics after your shop for your clothes. Or you could drop off dad and brother before going to valley fair. But it is too small to consistantly know your item will be there.
Don't get me wrong, I buy a lot of things from this Best Buy as they do have good deals as well. I often times buy DVD's and video games there when there are great deals. Just often times there isn't enough stock. Also if you're going to a best buy in order to check out the open box items, this best buy might not be your best option. I don't see as many open box items as those at the larger stores in Milpitas.

This two story Best Buy is the home of the "Geek Squad" that has been a big part of their marketing campaign. All of the best that Best Buy offers is at this store, most likely because of its close proximity to the upscale "Santana Row". If you have an expensive purchase to make and want service better than Fry's go here!
