Took my machine in to see if it was under warranty for them to charge my husband $30 deposit towards the service. Now they want another $35 to replace a screw with lock-tite. Ridiculousness. Now they said the first $30 was just to look at it, that it didn't cover the service. And it took them 5 days to get back to me.

I would NEVER recommend them to anyone. I believe the reviews I read below. I can see where they are coming from.

Drove 20 miles to their store to buy a gasket for an espresso machine. Had the machine with me. Got home and realized I was sold the wrong gasket. When I called they acted as if it was my fault. Rather than drive back to the store we agreed I would mail the gasket to their office and they would mail back the right gasket . Over 3 weeks have passed. I have called 5 times and every time I call it is always someone else who was going to do something. Once they claimed it was in the mail. I was never given a call back, as promised a few times. Never did anyone act the least bit concerned or offer an apology. So now they have the money and the gasket and all I have is one of the best examples of poor customer service I have ever experienced.

I ordered a part for a Kitchenaid mixer from CAS because they said that they had it in stock, would ship it that day, and that I would have it in two to three days. It was important that I get it asap, a pastry chef?s mixer not working properly is a real problem. When it didn't arrive I called and was told that they didn?t have any in stock after all, that they had to order it, and that it would arrive in seven days. No one had bothered to call and inform me of this. When it didn't come, again, I called and was told that they had it, would send it that day, and that I would have it in two to three days. Sound familiar? They also said that they would credit my account (which had been billed the day I placed the order) if the part wasn't shipped that day. Again, it didn't arrive, and my account was not credited. After more than two weeks, I had no part and my account had not been credited. I called to cancel the order and was told that it had been shipped and could not be returned because it was a special order. I expressed my frustration with CAS and was told that ?there are much bigger problems in the world, you shouldn?t be upset about this?. After talking to a supervisor it was agreed that if I sent the part back my account would be credited and I did receive an apology. I called my credit card company and filed a complaint against the charge just to be sure. It seems that CAS will promise you anything but isn?t particularly interested in making good on those promises.

Repairs are never on time & A new excuse w\ each visit. NO big surprise to find out they are rated

"UNSATISFACTORY" with a well known business ethics and resolution organization. I'm looking for a new repair shop.
