Luna Park

The food is always good, but what's especially outstanding about this place is the service!!!! The staff go out of their way to make sure you are happy with your experience... and this has consistently been the case each and every time I've visited.

Fun place to go for lunchtime if you want a convivial atmosphere... it gets packed, so be prepared to take a little extra time and maybe enjoy a little cocktail before you head back to the office!

like everything about this place. the decor's great, lighting's great, service was great (by a friendly/involved/attractive server), and the crowd was young, hip, &appropos... even the recommended dishes & drinks by the server turned out to be great. but you might want to sit on top of your coat or sweater b/c the wooden seats will make that (hard) bum of yours hurt after a while.

By far, one of the best places in LA to have great cocktails, fantastic food, beautiful crowd and very reasonable price. I will go back soon.

These days most restaurants in LA with the same quality of food and ambience would cost 3 times more than Luna Park. Good job....keep it up!!!

I've been here a few times and I've got to say it is the best restaurant in town. I've consistently had wonderful service and excellent food. It's delicious good ol' down to earth American food and I love it. I love the chargrilled chicken and the brussel sprouts it comes with (I know, right). It's not in the heart of a big social scene or anything, but the quality of dining here far outweighs any restaurant that is. The mac n cheese is also very good, you can tell they use real cheddar and not packets of fake low quality cheese. Mmm my mouth is watering now, I'm in need of a Luna Park fix.

Went here last night for a friends' birthday. The four of us who arrived early sat at the bar, and the bartender (don't remember his name) was great. The drinks were excellent and despite the fact that he was very busy he was attentive to us. But when the rest of our party (9 people) showed up the waitress Briana was HORRIBLE!!! It was at least 15 minutes before she even came to get our drink order. It was late and she was not busy by the time we left but despite this fact she dropped the check and then completely vanished! After waiting 15-20 minutes, I fionally had to go to the bar and ask to pay my bill! It was another waitress who ran our credit cards. And she included an 18% tip. Normally, as someone who waitressed for many years, I tip at least 20%, but I wouldn't have left this lazy b*tch a penny. We should have just walked out - that b*tch deserved it. The food is good, but not good enough to make up for the completely HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!
