Outback Steakhouse is an Australian steakhouse restaurant. Although beef and steak items make up a good portion of the menu, the concept offers a variety of chicken, ribs, seafood, and pasta dishes. Outback Steakhouse emphasizes consistently high-quality food and service, generous portions at moderate prices and a casual atmosphere suggestive of the Australian Outback. Australia is a place of adventure and wonder. Make a discovery of your own at Outback Steakhouse with our New Menu. It's bursting with innovative new choices, classic favorites and lower prices, including 15 meals under $15 starting at $9.95*. *At participating locations
I loved it! From the fun inviting atmosphere, to severs who are very atentative! The food was well prepared, with a very filling portion at a really reasonable price! The foods where very flavorful, from the croutons in the salads, to the slice of cheese cake with raspberry sauce (which seemed more like the whole cake rather than a "slice"). The drinks made from the bar where superb! Wallaby darned? more like heaven! It is like getting Ruth?s Chris food for Chili's price! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!
Pros: Great food for a great price
Cons: Parking lot needs improving

Very disappointing. We waited 15 minutes to get waited on. We had to ask someone to find our waitress. Apparently we didn't have one, because many people waited on us all night. We got our meal before the appetizer, and our steak had to be sent back because it wasn't even cooked on this inside (we ordered a medium). Then, when I asked to speak with a manager, this joke came out and told us that "it happens to one or two tables a night, you just happened to be one of them." What a lame excuse! I wanted to talk to the manager's manager! I do not recommend this place to ANYONE, unless you are willing to drink away the stress because the bartender did alright.
Pros: Good drinks
Cons: Dumb manager

I love their kookabura wings and their onion bloom as an appetizer. Their usual garden salads are amazing, with their croutons (i am in love with their croutons..its nicely seasoned). I'm a bread & butter freak, so the rye bread is nice and warm with fresh butter. I love a good ribe eye and sometimes it comes out more overcooked..when I asked for medium-rare, but eh. Good baked potato with the typical fixins. I am usually wayy to full to have dessert, but I always end up oogling at them anyways. I also have tried their salmon and alice's stuffed chicken, which are also tasty.

For one thing, Koalas ARE NOT BEARS, they are marsupials!! The food is better than average, the portions are more than adequate, the prices are abit steep, the attitudes of the wait staff needs improving, the waiting area needs to be expanded.
Pros: Food above average, Portions ample+, Good Lager
Cons: Abit pricey; Crowded, Inadequate parking, Staff Attitudes

This place sucked. It was a long wait, bad service, poor food and way too noisy. I tried it twice just to give it another chance and this place screwed up everytime. The cooks need to go back to McDonalds and try some cooking that is at their level. Not as good as Cattlemens!! Never will be. Cattlemens Rocks!!!
P.S. Aussies never heard of the Outback Steakhouse and there are none in Australia. hmmmmm?
Pros: none
Cons: everything about the, place

I heard good things about the resturaunt and tried it myself. It was the worse experience.
The wait was long, they messed up the orders twice, and when the orders came out, the steak was over cooked. I asked for medium rare and got crispy well done. The food also took forever to come out and it came out all in different times and by the time I got the food, I lost my appetite. I would higly NOT recommend this place to any one

This just shows there are no good places to eat in Sacramento if Outback makes anyones list.

The Outback Steakhouse delivers the most succulent steaks I have ever tasted. However, if you really want it medium-well, order the well-done.

Overcrowded, noisy and expensive. I do not need a piece of meat that badly. I do not know why people go to Outback!
Pros: interesting
Cons: noisy, crowded, expensive

If you like salt, this is the place for you. The fries which came with the ribs were so salty, we had to return them and request a baked potato instead. The steak also was loaded with salt and tough. The waiter was so intrusive, my husband asked me if he was an old boyfriend. I also asked my husband if HE knew him. Haven't been back and no intentions of ever going there again!
Pros: good parking
Cons: crowded, loud, over rated

I think Outback Steakhouse is the very Best place to eat in the whole USA.
Pros: just over all good
Cons: Crowded, not enough parking

The food over all was not very good. And the steak was a tough. Just didnt enjoy the meal at all

I would go elsewhere for my steak. It was OK but certainly not the best.

nothing special...quality of meat has gone downhill. lots of food for the money is the payback
Pros: quantity
Cons: quality

Best Steaks I have ever tasted. The marinate is superb the texture divine. Even tried the take-out and the meat was exactly as ordered!
10's all around!

The price is right, I love eating at outback the prime rib is my number one meal, I like it rare but also had it well done and it melts in your mouth every time.
Cons: more parking

Outback came into my town with much fan fare. I like that kind of confidence so. one night my wife and I tried Outback out.
I don't know what all the hype is about. Service was fine, not outstanding.........just fine. And I would decribe the food the same way. Just ok. Not bad..............but not as outstanding as all the "you gotta try this place" advertisment. I have asked my friends and they say the same thing.

Consistant value and good food. Filet is always good and the coconut shrimp are wonderful!

My family goes there to eat meals together, you can't miss! Seafood, steak, ribs, salads and good service. It's never a risk!
Pros: good service, good food, great take out

I have eaten at Outback probably 10 times within the last 2 years and I have to totally disagree with this restaurant being ranked at #2. Every single time that I have ordered a steak, I have ordered it medium rare. Does this establishment know what medium rare is? My answer to that is NOT! Each time they have returned to my table with my steak, it has been over cooked and very dry. Not one time can I recall them ever making my steak to order.
The people in Sacramento must not know what a "good" steak is. Because if Cattlemen's ranks beneath the outback, then we are a city with major problems when it comes to food!!
Pros: locations
Cons: crowded, long wait, tough steaks

Excellent. Great place to go for a casual evening out. Great for lunch, too!
Posted 09/26/02
Outback has excellent service as well as a variety of food categories. The steaks are outrageously
melt in your mouth. Just enough seasoning to spark taste buds.

Outback has one of the best sirloin steaks I've ever had, but you gotta get it medium-rare to get all the flavor!
Pros: Simple, Steaks are tender
Cons: Crowded, Not very much seating

If you love buffolo wings, try the Kookabura Wings here. They are the best, and always consistant no matter what city to go to. The service is friendly and fast. All dishes tast excellent, esspecially the steaks!
Pros: Rib Eye, buffolo wings
Cons: can be busy
