Pipers Restaurant in Los Angeles has boasted well-prepared American classics since 1964. From club sandwiches with fresh roasted turkey to seafood pasta, this L.A. restaurant also serves fish & chips and their signature rice pudding. Pipers has added popular Korean dishes like Donkatsu (Pork Cutlets), Kai Bi (barbecued ribs) and Chicken Lettuce Wraps. Plus French toast, Belgian Waffles and Veggie Quesadillas and you have a truly "international" bill of fare available any time or day. The new beer garden is open from 4:30pm-2am and features 18 kinds of tap beer, big screen sporting events as well as authentic, original Korean dishes and free popcorn. So whether you prefer patio seating or a cozy booth, stop in for a quick omelet before work or an afterhours N.Y. steak. You can always count on fresh food, a comfortable atmosphere and fast, friendly service at Pipers in L.A.
It's hard to find 24 hour American restaurant in Los Angeles. Especially around Koreatown. When I feel like grabbing good old American style meal, I always go to Pipers. Food here is AWSOME, prices are moderate, location (Western and Beverley) and parking is good here. Don't munch on Dennys' junk, go to pipers!

Whether 2 in the morning or 8, Pipers is the place to go if you want a hearty meal. The breakfast food is great but most everything on the menu, and they do serve everything, is really good. Have craving for comfort food at 2 in the morning after a hard night of partying?... go home!!! or go to Pipers.
PROS: 24 hours

My wife (an Asian) and I (Hispanic) stopped by Pipers last Saturday around 5:00 pm. Upon entering we could see that the place was only about 10% occupied (all males?). After an awkwardly long wait a waitress finally came over to where we were standing near the front door and asked if we had reservations. We did not. She said "sorry, you need a reservation, call ahead next time". Heck, nearly all of the tables were empty! It wouldn't be appropriate here to share the thoughts that crossed my mind as to why we were declined access (and yes, we were clean and decently attired). Good luck getting in.
Pros: None
Cons: Geting in

They have the best breakfast burritos in town, not a lot of people at night, there is the cutest waitress with pink\red hair that works there, she is the business. She forgets her orders sometimes but the customers can?t get enough of that A$$. The only downfall is that cops like this place also because they don?t serve pork there.

They have one of the better breakfest burritos I've had in a long, the service is cool and there isn't too many people how go there, nice place to eat after a night of drinking.

Pipers is amazing. They have the best veggie burger I have ever had in my life. They do not skimp with the ingredients (lots of avacado, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms)...
They also have amazing daily soups. I like the turkey dumpling the best. They have everything you could ever be hungry for from breakfast served all day and night, spaghetti, korean food, meatloaf, etc...
It is very clean and much nicer than a Denny's but the prices and food are better!
Pros: great food, great wait staff, great parking, open 24 hrs
Cons: none

My husband and I have been hitting Pipper's at all hours of the morning, noon and night for several years now. We live fairly close and are extremely thankful to have a place open 24hrs that's a step or two above Denny's. The waitstaff is great and always say HI to us.
Pipper's makes the PERFECT buttered toast. And their breakfasts are wonderful. Lunch and dinner are just as good. The food is actually BETTER than the photos on the menu. ; ) and parking is a breeze.

I went over to this dive about 3 months ago at 1am and they were closed!!! The guy inside didn't give me any real reason other than that they were closed, even after I asked because it was advertised as a 24 hr place. I've lived here 5 years, there's more restaurants to go to than this dump. Make sure you call if it's after 1am to see if they're really open or it's a wasted trip.
Pros: It's not on the glitsy side of town like Mel's Diner is
Cons: They may not actually be open after 1am, you have to call first.

Tired of Denny's after a late night? If you're near Koreatown and don't want to pay for overpriced sandwiches at Canter's, check out Piper's Restaurant. My friend is a huge fan of their open face tri-tip sandwich. The food is decent but not everything on the menu is great.

This place was recently remodeled and while the atmosphere doesn't reflect it, this is really just a run-of-the-mill diner. We stopped in around 1AM and ordered a couple of standards and it was just edible. We would be thinking about our decision the entire next day as the food just didn't sit well with us. I would say if you are in the area and its late, keep driving to another late night eatery.
Pros: Newly remodeled, Prompt service
Cons: Bland food, Parking

Finally a place open at 3am when i'm out the club, but not yet ready to hit the bed! Food is great, service good and location hidden. Parking is also avaible and supervised, which is awesome since my stereo was once stolen at Denny's! I love it!
Pros: secure parking, good food, good service

Been going here, on and off, for decades. When I lived in Hollywood, years ago, was a regular and loved it. Great diner food at reasonable prices in a comfortable atmosphere. Love the fact it's open at all hours, not enough place are in LA.
Pros: food, price, value

After a show at the Wiltern, I was starving. My friend suggested Pipers which I had never heard of. I'm one of those people who always end up at Denny's cuz frankly there aren't a lot of good options without a wait time. It was soooo good. The food was delicious...try the 'pizzadilla'. The service was friendly, even in the wee hours of the morning.
Pros: Late night, Huge menu, Lots of parking

I just recently went back to Pipers for the first time in a long long while. It used to be a favorite brunch diner for my family when I was younger. WOW!!! It's completely remodeled and now I go with my honey to have a good & hearty meal at affordable prices and available around the clock!!! Service was great and everyone knows your name after the first two visits. Definitely a must-visit.
Pros: 24/7 open, great food, good parking

Though the service can be slow sometimes, Piper's is really never crowded and always good. Have the "Big Ben," a delicious beef patty with cheese on well-fried sourdough bread. The fries can be a bit soggy, so tell them to crisp them up and they'll be perfect. The cole slaw has to much mayo, so avoid it! Great diner food!
