Handyman Connection

I would like to telll you how pleased I was with the service that I received from your craftsman Scott yesterday. He is a superb craftsman, innovative, and technically skilled. He handled my list of 5 differnt skills efficiently. He was extremely pleasant, through, and cleand up the worksite after he was done. The work was outstanding yet the price was reasonable for a fully licensed contractor. There are days where I have said to myself that I would be willing to pay anything for quality workmanship, now I just have to call Handyman Connection for any of my needs. I plan to ask for Scott for any future projects. Thanks again for the excellent service!

We initially called for some repairs around the house and received an on time appointment and a reasonably priced professional proposal/bid from the craftsman that was assigned to us. In disscussions we also found out that he also does full remodeling. We saw some pictures and he helped us with our design ideas. What amazed us was that Ted stayed with our job start to finish and the only days off were where drying time was required. Our bathrooom now looks impressive, and with Ted's help it only took a little more over our original ideas to get something that looks 10 times better. A pleasant experience all around and I am very happy that he talked me into the new shower valve, although I was unsure at the time. I really appreciate it now. We also had the original wood rot repairs done too. Great company, great guys.

This service is a great concept but I think they could screen their handymen better. I've used them 3 times but have mixed reviews. The first was great, the work was done as promised. The second time, the guy did the work but it took longer than expected. The third time, the handyman tried to sell me an expensive part that didn't make sense. I ended up saying I needed to check into it further before having any work done. I found out that what he wanted me to buy was unneeded. The worst experience was not being able to trust them again.

the concept is great - one call gets you access to prescreened handymen for your projects. They have a good website to enter requests. It took a couple of days for them to respond. Once they found someone to do my projects, they sent the handyman out to my house to do the quote. They charge $55 for that visit, whether you choose to go ahead with the project or not. The price quoted for my simple tasks was ridiculous -- over $1,000 for what I expected to be $300-500. since I'd paid the $55, I reduced the scope of the job down to a couple of basics and had them do the work. The work was fine, but I would not recommend them based on the way they price the jobs.

PROS: convenient
CONS: overpriced
