I have been going to Top to Top (Santa Monica location) for nearly two years now. They are very good; knowledgeable staff, good prices, and they matched my running needs to the perfect shoe. They will not try to sell you the most expensive pair of running shoes, but the right kind for you. I highly recommend this store for all runners. Also, they showed me how to get the Nike+ to work with my Brooks shoes (You DO NOT need Nike shoes for it to work)

After developing a serious case of plantar fasciitis, I decided to bite the bullet and get myself some serious running shoes. The salesperson I had at Top to Top really knew his stuff, and presented me with a couple of options that he knew would work for my feet. I found a pair of shoes and a pair of inserts that fit great and offered almost instant relief for my heels. They were worth every dollar I paid, and I will be going back in a few months once this pair is worn out!

For a person like me who has flat feet and is always prone to injury, Top to Top is a life saver.
The associates working there took exact dimensions of the size and width of my feet and decided to give me a few pairs to try on.
After being there for an hour, I found the right match.
The price of the shoes may be more expensive compared to stores like Foot Locker, but its worth it given the service.
PROS: Excellent Service, Great Selection of Running Shoes
CONS: Wish They Had a Better Assortment of Sweat Pants!

On my first venture into Top to Top, I had excellent service and knowledgable, fellow runners, employees that assisted me in finding the right fit shoe. I even ran down the block to try them out. The next two times the service wasn't as top-knotch and I didn't feel as important to them. Although the prices are better, I have gone to another shop for the past few pairs of shoes. I will probably go back for another shot because I still think they have potential. They may have just fallen into today's customer service standards being just good enough. They have never been rude. I wouldn't say don't go there. I would suggest trying a time when you're the only customer. You might get better service. They have a great clothing and sock selection too. Lot's of other accessories and books. And, did I mention, they have great prices?
