I live here currently, unfortunately. I wish I had read the reviews before choosing this place. It's me and three other roommates, we're probably the only considered white people in the entire complex and everyone has a serious race issue with us. We've only gone about 5 months into our year-long lease (the shortest they have.. ha ha ha...) and I cannot WAIT to move out. The neighborhood itself is the worst to live in. The staff will seem friendly and very laid back at first, but give it a few months and will hound you over everything. We are all smokers, who keep an ashtray on the front porch (since the top level apartments don't have a patio, the front porch is "expanded"), and we're very considerate of this fact, but during their "monthly checks" they deemed that our ashtray was too trashy to be kept on the porch, so they, WITHOUT permission might I add, decided to open our storage unit and place our ashtray inside. For weeks we had assumed they had stolen it from us until we opened the storage and found it lying there with all of our trash on the floor, creating more of a mess for us. It was the most unprofessional thing I'd ever seen out of a staff of an apartment complex. Not to mention the neighbors 1) will argue OUTSIDE of the apartment loudly, and snap at anybody who asks them to please take it inside, and 2) the children who know we have pets will knock at 8 in the morning on Saturdays to play with our dog (and god forbid we leave our front door unlocked, because they will invite themselves in). Not to mention there have been four incidents so far where cops were parked on our side of the parking lot, only to find frequent domestic abuse calls happening and neighbors getting arrested. The apartment itself is very nicely remodeled, and have more amenities than most complexes in the area, but the price is ridiculous and you better make sure you're home before 5PM otherwise, all unassigned spots are taken by people who don't even LIVE there. And don't bother leaving your house on Sunday unless you want to park on the street. We value our privacy, so if you're someone who doesn't like mingling with neighbors, find a different complex.

This is by far the worst place EVER. The cockroaches or waterbugs are huge and still there. I supposedly had a renovated unit. Ok....The ghetto hangs out at the kids playground, the pool was closed during the summer, and the fitness room was like a room with two machines. Washer and Dryers were always broken. The staff is HORRIBLE. I think people get suckered in because the grass is green and the building looks decent on the outside. Dont judge a book by its cover!! The rent is WAY to high for this dump. I lasted 7 months....7 months to long.

When we first came to look at this place, the lady took us around the complex, which is very nice. The grass seemed to be cut, the flowers and all that stuff seemed to be very well taken care of. She showed us a unit, and it seemed clean and big. So we just decided to move in. Biggest mistake of my life...

The day we moved in, some guy had his car parked in our parking spot. I asked if he could move his car, and he yelled about 20 different obscenities (including racist ones). OK, so I park somewhere else and start moving boxes into our new place.. It was later in the evening when I was doing this, and the place seemed so different. There were kids playing and running around EVERYWHERE. Loud music is blasting from almost every building, and people are just staring at me. WOW, this was beginning to feel weird. As I'm walking towards my place, I notice these HUGE cockroaches crawling all over the place. This place is completely infested with those humongous outdoor looking cockroaches. So many in fact, I heard a few crunches from just walking to my apartment from my car. I finally finished moving in, and the first couple weeks are okay. I keep finding these huge roaches inside my apartment, and management doesn't seem to care. They start avoiding my calls, and when I go to the office they don't know what to tell me. Okay, then there's the noise problem.. I sleep during the day.. I try to anyway, and it was just impossible to do here. Kids are running and screaming at the top of their lungs from 10am-9pm. I asked a few kids to be a little more considerate, and they went on with those racist slurs and such. They have a "security" person who you call with any problems, so I did. Well, he would go and ask the kids to be quiet... but they wouldn't listen. They'd laugh in his face, and he would just walk off. The parking spots are very small, so my car got all kinds of dents in the doors. There's people smoking pot all over the place at night, and the helicopters are almost above the complex every night. Cops were also there chasing guys down throughout the complex almost daily. The rent was so high too! You would see people moving out all the time.. it's crazy! I managed to stay there only 3 months. I couldn't take it anymore. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Stay away from this place... please.
