Alemany College

I visited San Francisco to visit my cousin who goes here and attended a few classes with her here. Their program is nothing special but my cousin showed me the cost for in-state residents and I about dropped. Very cheap compared to what I am use to. The school is good for part timers and non-conventional students. Class environment is pretty relaxed and (to me) classes easy.

I am attending City College of San Francisco and have just gotten accepted into their nursing program there. They have a 2 year nursing program which is really rigorous but very challenging. The teachers are tough but seem to really care that you learn. They have a very comprehensive curriculum and are very encouring.

I have taken some real estate and accounting classes at City College and had good experiences. They are accomodating to people that are working too, since they offer a lot of classes at night and on weekends.

City College is located right off the freeway and is within walking distance to the BART station. They have paid parking available but you have to be there really early in the morning to get the free parking on the street by the school. The teachers are great but classes fill up pretty quickly. It's a great place to take your GE courses since their units are less expensive that the universities.

Great school with a large campus. Great library and student services. Even though it is a junior college, it is very comparable to other colleges out there. Great teachers and great environment. Also the student advisors are great and help students in finding out the right path to take. A wide variety of classes to take. Also a lot of parking for students.
