Wedekind's Garden Ctr

I LOVE Wedekind's -- I have only had incredible experience with their staff. They have a huge selection and they are always willing to help me find what I need. I drive all the way from Mill Valley for their terrific selection and atmosphere!

I find the staff to be snotty and rude. Whenever I am at the counter, they act like they have something better to do. Much of their merchandise is overpriced and a lot of their 6 packs are rootbound.

They do have a good selection, I will give them that.

I feel much more comfortable at Sonoma Mission Gardens, where I feel they are always happy to see a customer and they have a better selection of unsual, special plants.

My favorite area of this Garden Center is the roses. They have an assorted collection to choose from and its nice to just stand there and breathe in the fragrance. Its interesting to take a stroll around the property and get ideas from some of the setups they have. The staff will help with any questions you may have and I have always found them to be very courteous and friendly. They are a little more expensive than some out-of-town nurseries so comparison shopping would be worthwhile.

Wedekinds is another Sonoma business that has been here for years~ and the selection and staff clearly show why!
The store front is filled with all the necessaries~ tools and treatments~ but step into the yard outside and you are in a beautiful garden!
Along with all the plants~ there are fountains and ponds, trees and vines...it is so pretty and gives such fabulous inspiration!
The staff is so helpful and they really know their 'stuff'!

My favorite part of Wedekinds though...comes just once a year. During Christmas they have many trees in the side room displaying ornaments and Christmas decorations! Really you just say 'Wow 'when you walk in!
It's really fabulous and fun!!
