Phil's Imports is the best!!!

by Joni R.

Also been going to Phil's for years and he's the only one I trust with my Honda. He's very honest and works with you. He doesn't so anything unless you've been well informed as to what will be done and you know the costs upfront. Doesn't try to "sell" you on anything. And yes, I'm a woman and believe me, I've never had any problem what so ever in that respect with any of the people at Phil's.

Honest, Cheap, and reliable

by Scott P.

Me and my entire family have gone to Phil's for as long as I can remember. Phil has always been honest and trustworthy and tells you exactly what needs to be done. I recently had an oil change and a minor tune up done and my car drives and feels great. Remember kids regular maintenance will keep your radiator from falling out!

terrible work, dishonest, a nightmare

by Oksana A. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 1,134

This is the worst foreign car (they claim to be Honda/Acura specialists) repair shop I've ever encountered. After meeting with the owner & getting his assurances that they would install a rebuilt automatic transmission ($2500) into my Acura Integra themselves. I got the car back a week later, within 2000 miles (6 months) the transmission failed @ 5 AM on the Los Angeles Crest Hgwy. After it was towed in, the owner actually claimed that my 'radiator was blocked' and that it had caused the transmission to fail & therefore 'invalidated the warranty'!

They admitted they'd sent the transmission to a shop in El Monte (they did only GM cars) & they'd reinstalled my same transmission. The only way I could get them to honor the warranty (and get my car working again) was to agree to put in a new radiator (which ( did not need) at a cost of nearly $900.

This place is why so many people hate auto repair shops. If you are a woman, AVOID it.
