LOVE Dr. Princeton. Princeton is caring, intelligent, common sense, gives samples as can and VERY thorough. Princeton obviously loves what he does, it translates well to the patient & bedside manner. Staff is friendly & helpful. NEVER feel like a number. Wait time is under 5 minutes even without an appointment. BEST of the BEST!

I had an obvious cold and saw the doctor when I noticed it turning into a deeper respiratory issue with "green" phlegm. The female doctor who never gave her name was either extremely stressed out and fatigued or she was just a rude snot. I guess I can't judge what she may have been going through that day, but I will say she was quite unfriendly and did her best to make me feel extremely uncomfortable. I have never done drugs in my life or even drink or smoke, yet she kept pressing me about what "street" drugs I might be on. It seemed a little bit more than your average runthrough questionnaire routine, maybe because they get a lot of those types in there. I admit I did look awful considering I was sick, with no makeup, dark circles, and unbrushed hair. But I made it clear all I was there for was antibiotics. Then, she went on and on about my obesity in an antimidating way, with very long silences in between her questioning, giving me disgusted looks, and more long pauses when contemplating why I'm so fat I guess....even though her chart clearly said I have recently had a gastric bypass and am DEALING with the issue. She finally snapped that she'd give me a "Z-Pack" and am I ok with that. I had never heard of this and said, "Huh, what's a Z-pack?" She rolled her eyes and drew a big "Z" in the air with her finger and snapped, "Z ! LIke the letter Z, and PACK. It's an antibiotic." Then she walked out of the room while I was trailing after her saying, "Wait, excuse me? What kind of cough syrup should I get?" She never turned around and kept walking, and I heard her go "WHO IS NEXT!" Then she snapped, "Robitussin" and kept walking. The antibiotic worked, but I felt so uncomfortable with this kind of treatment, I probably won't return. I have great insurance, and I could choose just about any upscale doctor's office I want. I only went THERE because of the "walk-in" option, but it's probably best if you have good insurance to just take a deep breath, make that annoying appointment with someone else, and you will probably be much happier in the long run. We pay over $400 a month in medical insurance taken out of our paycheck, so so it's not worth it to have this kind of uncaring service.

This clinic is, from my experience, horrible. I went yesterday morning and have had a sore throat for several days without any relief. The "doctor" that "examined" me never looked me in the eyes when he spoke, stuttered a bit, acted uninterested in me and answered his cell phone during my "examination" (I use the word "examination" lightly). He looked into my throat, took a strep test and sent me on my way saying it was probably a virus and to come back in a few days if it did not get better. I had bad vibes when I entered the run-down building, and those bad vibes got worse after seeing the "doctor." I went to Premier Walk-In Clinic this morning (off Akers and 198) and was immediately diagnosed with an infection. The doctor there checked my glands (as well as my throat, ears, breathing and heart) and said they were very swollen. He was suprised when I told him the "doctor" at Visalia Walk-In had not even checked my glands as he said they clearly indicate an infection. Looking at my throat he could tell in nano-seconds I had an infection and prescribed amoxicillin. Thank God. I have not been able to sleep because of the pain of the sore throat and the worse thing is that there is nothing I have been able to do to relieve the pain - no home remedies or over the counter meds help. I greatly regret my first walk-in clinic visit and want to help others avoid paying money or spending precious time at a facility that does not seem to care about it's patients and that I believe is not educated or qualified to be making any patient diagnosis. Please save yourself grief and money and do NOT go to the Visalia Walk-In Medical Clinic.

The Walk In Clinic has quick service and has always been helpful. It's open 24 hours and the it has good doctors who know what they're talking about. They give you a good examintion and the doctor I usually get can diagnose what I have in a matter of minutes. The clinic is well staffed and has easy access off a big street and the worst thing is the waiting room is small. A very good business establishment and I highly recommend using the facility.
