This is a great place to get Chinese food, although there are some of the dishes has an American feel to it. Nevertheless I like the prices they are pretty much reasonable and staff very friendly enough to the customers. Not my first choice but definitely not hard to recommend.

American Chinese food at this spot - it won't be authentic but it will keep the Westerners happy. Food is ok, price is average.

Let's not get too excited about this restaurant. It is chinese light in the sense the only thing that is authentic just happens to be the people who work there. The food is simply okay.

This is the BEST Chinese restaurant I've ever eaten at. The quality if fantastic. I've moved away from the Fremont area years ago, but go back just for this place. I haven't been able to find anything else that compares. It's in a strip mall of the Warm Springs area in South Fremont but is definetely worth the drive. Service is great as well, they always remember you by name and even remember your favorite dishes.

Pros: No reservation needed, great food, great service

A few of my Chinese associates say Ho Chow is not authentic Chinese, authentic or not, it's damn good. The dim dining room is nicely decorated with hints of borderline tackiness added. The highlight of the menu is Madarin Deluxe Pan Fried Noodles. The noodles are fried and have a nice texture to them, it comes in a gravy-like sauce that is simply delicious. Other dishes to try include Mongolian Beef, Orange Chicken, and Deep Fried Cod in a black bean sauce (I don't think they have this on the menu anymore). Everything I tried on the menu was good. The prices are a couple more bucks than the standard Chinese restaurants but well worth it. Ho Chow has been one of my favorite Chinese restaurants, authentic or not.

Pros: Ample parking, Prompt service, Full bar

Cons: A little pricey, Busy lunch crowd

The Chinese fare is prepared with the utmost care. Try tantalizing dishes like the Tangerine Chicken or Ruby Jade Scallops.
