My friend took her dog and it's puppies there and spent over 700.00 for x-rays and all sorts of things. She was so broke that she was pretty much penniless but the smallest of the litter was near dead and she went back and asked if she could pay in a week when she got her check and was refused. I told her to take her to my vet instead. She did and my vet only charged 46.00 for the visit and didn't feel it was necessary to take all those tests and x-rays and simply gave the smallest puppy a bit of water because it was dehydrated. The puppy is great and it is infuriating to think that someone could spend that much money at the vet in such a short time and then be refused when their bank runs dry because of the vet bill. It's not a sign of someone who cares - medicine is not big business not for people or pets and it shouldn't be treated as such.

When I first got my dog, I brought her here to get her initial shots and checkup. The staff here is very friendly and knowledgable.

They have two separate entrances, one for dogs, and one for cats. So if your cat hates dogs, or if your dog hates cats, the reception desk is between the two areas, making it easier to deal with.

They also have a live-in cat, who's very old with only one eye. I don't recall his name but he's sweet.

They share the parking lot with several other businesses, so if you drive, it might be difficult to find a spot.

PROS: Friendly, knowledgable staff
CONS: Parking
