Boulevard Pet Clinic has been my 1st choice for vet care since 1994
by Lisa P.
The same 3 or 4 people have gone to every review site available to slam this Pet Clinic and their reviews are eerily similar as if they were written by the same person. Don't believe them. Try listening to me. I have been taking my four-footed family members to Dr. David since 1994 and I have never had a bad experience - not a single one. It is true that Dr. David is a quiet person by nature and that he relates better to the animals he is treating than to people but I like that. It's not unusual to see him absent-mindedly scritching or cuddling your dog or cat while he explains the latest problem you're pet is having. He and his technicians demonstrate compassion and concern for the animals they treat and they will tell you why they are doing something if you don't understand. Just ASK them.
Yes, there are other places that are touchy/feely & luxury based and I've been to most of those clinics too. Some of them are even decent . The reason I stick with Dr. David is because I know I can rely on him in an emergency. He's as good at well-pet care as he is with a dog who ran head-long into a fence chasing birds (mine). He has the patience to handle chronic conditions such as Canine Epilepsy and he is an excellent and skilled surgeon. he does a lot of work for Breed Rescues and wild animal rehabilitators for that reason.
If you want to make the most of your visits with him, take your pet in first when they are well. Have a get to know you visit. Ask to be shown around and introduced to the staff. Make yourself known to the front office staff and ask them about Pet insurance and discount programs. Roberto turned us on to Pet Assure which is a straight 25% discount off all services and it's more than paid for itself several times over since we bought it. Remember that insuring a young animal is the best time to do it. Once you've become familiar with the practice, be sure to keep up your yearly shots and when your pet is ill and you feel you need a little more time with the doc, tell the front desk if you still have questions before you leave. they'll make sure you get an extra moment or two with the doc.
There is a reason that this Vet practice is as busy as it is. Dr. David and Staff dispense high quality care in a compassionate atmosphere. I am so grateful to have them as part of my extended family these many years. They care about each individual pet that comes through their doors.

AVOID BOULEVARD PET CLINIC AT ALL COSTS IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET!!!!
by Tucker C.
We recently had to put to rest our special friend and cat Geronimo. We endured a heartbreaking and costly experience with Dr. Schwartz for nothing gained-not even the assurance that we did everything we could. His total lack of awareness as how to accurately treat our cat for lily ingestion was embarrasing. He was also somewhat condescending and pompous with regard to his lack of attentiveness to our feedback about our cats symptoms- despite our numerous attempts to make him aware. His practices have been questioned by many on the reviews below, now have been questioned by ourselves & our new veterinary doctor & such practices may have possibly lead to our cats death. Please do not take your animal to this vet clinic if you need quality trained veterinary help for your pet.
