My experience with Eurotile turned into a nightmare. I was initially very pleased with my salesperson in helping me choose tile for a bathroom and ordered the tile and entered into a contract for the tile and labor. The day the job was to start I was told that the contract was void because they don't provide labor through their store and that the salesperson that wrote that up had been fired (even though he was still there 3 weeks later). Evidently he had these contracts with a few people. I was gracious about the cancellation of the labor and still bought the tile from them and found a different contractor for the labor. My tile had already come in except for the glass tile I had ordered at the same time which they had given me a discount on. After they told me the contract was void they tried to up the price of the glass tile. I told them that they should honor the price but I was willing to pay the $35 that it costs to ship it to them. I called or stopped by every day checking on when the glass tile was coming in because the contractor was now waiting on it. At one point I was told they were sending a driver to pick it up - needless to say, still no glass. Finally after 5 days of the contractor being at a standstill waiting for the glass, I am starting to get upset. It was one story after another. The last straw was when they sent me to a place over an hour away that supposedly had the glass tile and when I got there it wasn't even the right tile. When I called from there at my wits end they told me they can't get it and don't want to deal with it and want to refund my money for the glass tile. So after 6 weeks of me waiting and one screw up after another their answer is to just back out of it and leave me hanging. I asked to speak to the manager or their headquarters several times and was not given the phone number. I kept asking why they can't get the glass and was finally lied to and told it's obsolete. This was a total lie because I called another tile store that deals with that glass company and they verified it was in stock at the glass company. After Eurotile washed their hands of it I ordered it through the other tile company and had it in my hands the next day. To this day I don't know why they did this to me. The reasons I can think of are:
1:They did not want to honor the price they sold it to me. Why a business would want to ruin their reputation for a few dollars doesn't make sense.
2: total incompetence in getting it ordered or picking it up. When they sent the truck to get it supposedly the glass company said they already had it in the mail and therefore would not give the driver another order. One would think Eurotile would have called a rep from the company and arranged all that before sending a driver. By the way, it never was in the mail so that was another lie. Later when Eurotile sent me to pick it up at a place an hour away they didn't even make sure it was the right tile before sending me there.
3: Perhaps they had credit problems with the glass company and couldnt get it in which case they should have been honest about it. I tend to think this might have been the case because the place they sent me to pick it up was a tile distribution place and not the glass company.
I don't see any justification for treating a customer that way with the constant lies, especially since I was so gracious when they cancelled the original contract on me. The whole experience with them seemed totally unethical. What company cancels a contract like that and then leaves you hanging after waiting for an order for 6 weeks and washes their hands of it. And to top it off refuses to let you speak to the owner/manager? I did finally get a refund for my overpayment of $800 on the original contract.

I visited EURO tile to purchase some decorative tile for my kitchen... they had a wide selection and I ended buying the decorative pieces and all the tile from them. Well, I go home and realize the tile I purchased was too light in color and I had changed my mind. I return to the store a week later, and they more than gladly exchanged my tile and offered to deliver it to a store closer to my home!! I was so pleased and they surely relieved a lot of stress of having to decided between colors!
