This is a pretty average, forgettable bar. It's not terribly big and pretty dark, but they do have a pool table, which is probably the biggest draw. It has a pretty good location, but there are a number of better bars nearby.

Hasn't changed at all in at least the ten years that I've lived here and in this case that's a good thing. The staff is always friendly and you won't sit around with an emply glass in front of you for long.
Pros: great bartenders, nice folks
Manua Loa is an oasis for those who live in or enjoy the Marina but aren't the 'Marina type'. The bartenders are great, down to earth people. The crowd can be Marina types on weekend nights, but the rest of the time its a great place to chat and meet cool people.
