Went to Payless Rockery for a yard of amended soil, 2 yards of play sand, some medium sized feature boulders, and a load of river rock. We were pleased with the selection and the prices. If I didn't have a truck, I would have been able to use their delivery service. They also supplied the greyfine top dressing for our softball field at a very competitive price!

Bonus service: I was told that if I arrived at a slow time, they would weigh my truck / trailer for me, which I did.

Having to go and buy rock, this place made it easy. Payless provides both for pick-up and delivery. There is a delivery charge so depending on the amount is could be convenient and hassle free. The parking lot is spacious, but when you have a lot of large trucks space does get small. I found if I went early I did not have any problems with space. They also have a garden area and other retaining wall blocks. So if you just wanted to shop around this is a good place to start.
