I had to wait for my food more than for 30mins...\r
It seems only 1 chef and 1 waiter there.\r
Talked to a waiter and she couldn't do anything other than make me calm down...because the food comes late, that's not her job, but a chef's.

The quality of the fish is pretty good, but otherwise, Miki is nothing special. The service is painfully slow and the appearance of the place is, generously, dumpy. Total fine if you're a local, but it's not worth a trip across town.

Pros: Friendly staff

Balboa has quite a few restaurants, but of all the Japanese restaurants on the block, this by far is the best. It's tiny in size, but you can often pass by at 5:00 and watch the place fill up with patrons. The teriyaki is awesome as is the katsu curry. The staff of 2 are a dynamic pair considering the size of the restaurant and the number of patrons that can converge at any time.
