This is by far the best Korean restaurant in Los Angeles. I've been to many and the food here is outstanding. I've been here a few times now and I recommend the "seafood pa-jun" which is like a pancake and any of their bbq meats. Their small side dishes are better than any other Korean joint in town. It's an old small place and seems to get very busy during dinner hours so don't expect great service, but you will definitely get great food. Go with a larger group so you can try more dishes at once.

The food was okay, but the service was very bad. The waitress was very rude and ignorant. They were complaining about the stroller that we had to take in because the baby was sleeping. We asked more about one particular Korean dish and the waitress said "Calm down". I used to go to this restaurant, but I deseve better service with my baby and family. They don't have the right to be rude to us because we took the stroller inside the restaurant. All they had to do was ask nicely. Don't go!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best dressed Mom golfer too. Love the food, hate the benches. Best thing was bacon on the grill with raw garlic and bean paste. Cuttlefish and green onion pancake can't be missed.

I have tried many Korean restaurants in LA. Sa Rit Gol is by far my favorite. I like to order the mixed vegetables with marinated pork. You wrap the pork with vegetables and rice. It's super delicious.

After seeing all the positive reviews, I thought this place would be wonderful. The service was terrible. There was a call button and even after ringing it a few times, the waitresses still would not come to our table. We had to ask several times for our panchan to be replaced, which they never did fully. The jjajang myon was cold and not very tasty. The eel dish we had was the worst eel I've ever had. The only thing good was their kimchee. Also, their prices for the area are high and to top it off they have a B rating in terms of cleanliness. I do not recommend this place and don't understand why the other reviews were so good.

I really loved this place. I followed the waitresses recommendation and ordered black cod - something I would never have thought of - and I LOVED it. Get adventurous! It's worth it.

My first try at Sa Rit Gol was phenomenal, as the service was great and the food was plentiful. The next time around, maybe bc it was a party of 8, but the service was horrendous and the food seemed like it was only fit for 4. All in all, the quality and taste of the food is top notch, but the inconsistency of the establishment makes me want to look elsewhere.

Great food, nothing fussy, exceptional pricing. It's the place to go get your tummy full and soak up some culture. I love the private room!! I guess I'm not the only one, I've spotted a few familiar faces in there as well.

Pros: Prompt Service, Delicious Food

Aside from the hidden gem of Sa Rit Gol, a family affair run with experience and aplomb by Justine Hah and her mother, the food is a special testament that rural cuisine of Korea is the best! The littany of salads and meats, subtly spiced and piquant Bass soups, but the highly addictive cuttlefish and green onion cakes are extraordinary!

This is as authentic as it gets. The original OG of Korean restaurants. Though many restaurants have come and gone in Koreatown, this place has withstood the test of time. Unlike many other restaurants that have specialized in one thing such as BBQ or stews or noodles or etc., this restaurant offers the full range of Korean foods. Their BBQ is as good as any other while offering fish specialties including my favorite...augoogim. The decor has not changed much over the years, but it gives it a homely, country feel. The prices haven't changed much either.

Defenitely the best Panchan in L.A. This was my first korean food experience and since then I've gone back almost everyweekend. Be adventurous and you won't be dissapointed. Aside from the great BBQ pork and BBQ beef their soups (Tripe Intestine-be adventurous) are delightful. The ambience is down-home, if your waitress doesn't speak english don't be shy to ask for someone else to help out. And the black cod in radish is the best cod outside of portugal/spain!!! I promise.

Best panchan in Koreatown. The smell of barbeque will surround you in this teeny Korean on Olympic. But what this place does best are traditional Korean soups, stews and casseroles.

Try the rice cake and beef dumpling soup. Your body will be nourished and according to Korean tradition, you will be blessed with good luck.
