I love the food here. And the price can't be beat. Its served buffet style, so you get to choose how much of what you want. As a vegetarian, I am so happy when I go here.

I had the pleasure of having the lunch buffet @ Govinda's in the Hare Krishna center on Watseka (Venice Blvd) -- ecclectic Indian cuisine, which included Miso Soup and a tasty pasta dish. The tahini salad dressing was fantastic. Everything was tasty, and prepared with no animal products. I appreciated details such as environmentally-friendly paper plates, and self-serve water available hot, room temperature, or iced. I noticed several customers enjoying just soup and/or salad. Buffet was priced by the pound, or all you can eat for just $7! My friend & I also browsed a charming little boutique store upstairs.

Yes this delicious food is as Indian as it gets and there is also a good variety of Western style food available. I am Indian non-vegetarian and after eating here I almost want to give up on my carnivorous habits. Another great thing

I've been here many many times and am in love with their $3.50 Bhima burgers! They're very flavorful and their organic green mayonaise is terrific! I ask for them to be made without ketchup and mustard as it's just a bit much for me. But

Are you kidding me? This is psedo-Indian food cooked by a bunch of hippies! I'm Indian and vegetarian so I was psyched to try it out. But the food is so-so at best and I can't remember the last time I saw alfalfa sprouts at an Indian meal.

This is a great vegetarian buffet. Very inexpensive. Always a lot to choose from. They are generally very nice, except when it gets to be closing time...then they want you out...But overall, a pleasant place.
