never again. will i believe the reviews which were clearly written by employees. The place is the worst in Sac. and yes it is very racist as mentioned.

Terrible service, worse food. When I went to check this place out because of all the reviews about how great this place is, i was extremely dissapointed. The service was horrendous, Miss Sandra Dee herself was very rude to my grandmother and yelled at me when I told her to watch her attitude with her customers. The chicken was under cooked and the macaroni tasted like it had been sitting out all day. Needless to say, this so called restaurant" is one I will never go back to.

OMG this place should be boarded up. The young girl that is the greeter should be fired. Get passed her then you have rude staff. The place did seem a bit racist as mentioned in another review. Nope never again for me.

Terrible customer service- food and bad attitude. Food over priced and very salty. Stay away. This place is an old building with lot's of critters running around including the crack head that lives upstairs.

I loves me their fried chicken. The Thursday-Saturday special is half a chicken and 2 sides and cornbread for $13. Yumm. The mac & cheese is good and creamy. Only bad thing is the cornbread which tends to be a little dry but all is forgiven because of the fried chicken.

The fried chicken can take a little while to make so you may want to call it in ahead.

The parking sucks big-time. That's a major complaint and a very serious drawback in my personal opinion. The food is awesome. The service is even better. But the parking situation negates all of the above compliments.

The food is excellent and definately a good value. the staff is friendly and attentive. Their aligator po-boys are awsome as well as the sweet tea.The atmosphere is also worth the trip. I live close by and try to eat there once a week. Only con is the lack of parking.

PROS: awsome food, people
CONS: lack of parking
