I found westwood appliance store in santa monica, online for a water filter I needed for my place. I felt welcomed by the sellers in the store and all of my questioned were answered. I ended up paying a very reasonable price than what I would have purchased online. Overall, I walked out of the store knowing that with the level of customer service, I had to leave a review for them.\n\nThank you!

I found westwood appliance store in santa monica, online for a water filter I needed for my place. I felt welcomed by the sellers in the store and all of my questioned were answered. I ended up paying a very reasonable price than what I would have purchased online. Overall, I walked out of the store knowing that with the level of customer service, I had to leave a review for them.\n\nThank you!

As posted earlier, I did not have a very good experience. And Westwood Applicance did NOT fix anything. But wow...after writing that review, AL (supposedly the owner who came to my house) actually called my HOME to complain about the review! \n\nI wasn't going to tell the entire horrid, inappropriate tale but here goes...In addition to his wife and daughter (Darlene and Danielle respectively) being so rude, Al did come to the house. He said it had to do with the venting and then tried to persuade me to do an very expensive ""new venting"" which I refused.\n\nBut the WORST part was how inappropriate he was. Again, like his daughter, he asked if I was a therapist and then launched into stories of some of his other clients who were therapists and descriptions of their homes. He made ongoing inappropriate comments about people and their professions. \n\nHe tried to make me feel indebted because he wasn't going to charge me. Is he kidding!? I thanked him and called Snyder Diamond (where I purchased the dryer) and they came out and made sure the installation was correct. All that was needed was to check the vent connection. They did, and the dryer works perfectly.\n\nI would never allow these people in my home again. I

I've been a residential landlord for many years now. Back when I first bought and remodeled my rentals, I used to rely on the warrantees that came with the appliances I bought from major retail stores. After a few attempts at service calls, I came to believe that the major repair contractors were only there to give consumers the run-around.\n\nOne day, I asked my plumber for a referral and he set me up with Westwood Appliance. \n\nI've been completely satisfied ever since! Westwood Appliance is a business that I depend on, at least three or four times a year, to respond quickly, effectively, and economically to all of my tenants needs. They generally get things done the same day, they don't waste time getting to the root of the problem, and when a machine would cost more to repair than replace, I've usually ended up buying the replacement from them, too.\n\nThey stand by their products and service, and they stand by their warrantees. I don't know what confusion may have led to the previous reviewer's warrantee experience, but I have nothing but great things to say about the business, and the professionalism and courteousness of the family that runs it. \n

They showed up on time and diagnosed the problem correctly. He tried to tell me something else should be replaced though that I really feel wasn't affecting the performance of the washing machine which I didn't appreciate. I would probably give them one more chance though, the tech was friendly.

I am so thrilled to have found this company. \n\nI had a brand new Maytag Washer. A month after I got it it started leaking. I called the manufacture, they could not get out for a week!!! They gave me Westwood Appliance as a servicer for them. They came out the same day!!!
