I graduated from Epiphany School in 1963. The Presentation Sisters were our teachers. I had arrived in San Francisco as an immigrant from Argentina, with an Italian background, and in this school and church I can honestly say many of the good things that I have learned in life have come from there. The sisters were the freest and most disciplined women I have ever met and though classed were quite packed they were able to cope not only with ourselves but with our families and our needs. Education was of the highest level and full of common sense and creativity. We were taught to be kind to each other and respectful. Can a school offer more than that? I dont think so.

We have had several members of our family go through Epiphany and graduate. They were all very well prepared for Catholic High School, especially science. We heard of how the science teacher pushed her students to always "do their best," as is a school moto. They do say this every morning. With the loss of Ms. Kushnir, we are sad to say that there is now a great loss at "doing our best." Quite frankly we are afraid right now as to how our 6th grader will do in science. They are not learning anything! Science used to be about learning, and challenging oneself. It is now about, I don't even know! Students used to learn and work hard in science, now they talk, joke around, through things, everything pretty much but learn anything!
Many Epiphany students excelled in science in high school, a lot taking honors classes. I know that is no longer the case. I am wondering why we no longer have a science teacher who is knowledgable in science?
Once again, anytime you go to the administration, you get no answers! At least they are on campus a bit more this year than in the past. Most years, they never were to be found on campus for a full week. Still not sure of the role of our vice principal. She still just seems to be someone to follow the principal around.
As a parent, I really worry about Epiphany. Epiphany used to stand for high standards! Now, it is just about moving along, we are no longer challenging our students! I hope that other parents voice their opinions as well. I have spoken with many, but most are afraid to come out and speak for fear of our children being outcast!

Thank you to the Epiphany teachers and staff! Thank you for your hard work and dedication to our children! The middle school truly prepares our students for the rigors of private catholic high schools. Our children are not only prepared academically, but also socially. 2 of my girls are in honors biology thanks to Epiphany's well run and structured science program! Thank you to Mrs. Cruz for helping them to be at the top of their class in math, to Dr. Piro, for his strong encouragement and helping them to realize that they were "jipping" themselves, to Ms. Siri and Ms. Barbero in Language Arts, and to Ms. Kushnir for not only getting them well prepared for science, but for helping to push them to realize what they can do.! Thank you for your all of your hours of hard work! Thank you for pushing our students to be all they can be! I do not know of any other middle school that prepares children as well as Epiphany!! Our gratitude will always be with you!!! You do shape the leaders of tomorrow!!!

Epiphany found creative ways to support and motivate my child. Epiphany provided a foundation that encouraged a scared, low performing student to surpass what was expected based on standardized scores, form trusting relationships with the faculty, and learn to give back to the community. Because of the committed concern of the faculty, my child has not only the academic skills, but also the character and integrity that I prayed for when choosing Epiphany School.
Thank you Epiphany!

Ephiphany is a great school and the teachers here are awesome. The school has 2 classes per grade. They have an afternoon and morning program for kindergarten and they also have a before school and after school program for the families that needs it. The school serves the children from all over the bay area. Families from all over send their kids here to be educated. And to me that says alot about this wonderful school

All 3 of my kids were students of this school. My oldest child graduated at this school from the 8th grade. Unfortunately, I transfered my kids out a year ago due to financial difficulties but our hearts remains at Epiphany. Some of the teachers have been teaching here for many many years. I have always had great experience with all the teachers that my kids had. The tuition is about the same as every other catholic school in the bay area. But Epiphany is special because they give family like our financial aid that is raised from different types of fundraising. Dr. Dan was the principle when my oldest daughter attended Epiphany. She had then went to another school but still is a big part of Epiphany by way of support. Father Bruce who is our friend and was our pastor has since then transfered to another parish, but remains active in fundraising for both his new parish and Epiphany. Now that is very special. The Epiphany Family is very tight knit and truly cares for one another and cares for the community.
