Ratings_icons poor service, incompetent manager

leonard b.

Food was Ok, but overpriced fro what you get.
Service was non-existent. After food was ordered and served nobody showed up for the entire meal, untill I was able to flag down a hostess.
The bill included 18% service charge (6 people party).
I wrote on the bill that I was dissatisfied with the service and will pay reduced tip from the one in the bill.
Manager came out and instead of apologizing for the service we received, insisted that we pay 18% tip..
Frankly speaking, I have not seen anything like

This restaurant has the best gnocchi I have ever had. Get it with their fresh alfredo sauce and you will be in heaven. The prices are good and it is located right on the Promenade so if you like to people watch sit out on the patio.

A bit pricey but the food is good and the service is great! The atmosphere is really nice for out of towners or a first date. Great decor and the waiter outfits are adorable!

Ratings_icons Great place on the promenade!

This quaint little restaurant is a keeper!

We come here nearly once a week for lunch because the food, service, and environment are to die for. Located right on the promenade there is a small outdoor patio area where you can sit and people watch. There is generally a musician playing somewhere close by as well which makes for nice background music.

The staff here is friendly, quick and attentive. The iced tea is great here.

If you're there for a day when they have clam chowder, try it out. It's a thin soupier style but one of the most delicious I've tasted. All of their salads are made deliciously. My favorite dish is a spinach ravioli dish with a sauce to die for. Though a little rich, if you eat slow and savour the bites, it's not too overwhelming. The bread that they serve before hand is some of the best around.

The inside has an interesting wall decor. The walls aren't even. It's almost as if a tree (if I recall) or some sort of vines are paper mache like plastered to the wall. It sounds bizarre but really is neat!

Prices are reasonable and portions medium to large. We generally share a soup and pasta and with the bread, is plenty to fill us up. The bill for two people will run you around $20-$30 before tip. I've never tipped under 20% here.

Great place to eat, great service, you can sit and be leisurely or get in and out.
