The face was full when I came here. I had the summer roll for an appetizer--it was better than I expected, but it contained too much rice noodles. I ordered their bun (vermicelli salad). It was decent, but it also contained a lot of rice noodles, but I was given a generous amount. They didn't seem to have enough staff since it looked like one woman was waiting on all the tables.

I just went the other night and the food was horrible! I ordered their rice place with imperial rolls and bbq chicken. The jasmine rice was hard and chewy. The bbq chicken was dry and tasteless. And the rolls were fried to the point of being burnt. I woulndn't go again.

This place is ALWAYS empty, which makes me a bit sad because they serve pretty good food. I had a bowl of pho and shared an appetizer of spring rolls with my friend. Both were tasty, fresh and satisfied my craving for Vietnamese food. At Le Regal, you get authentic food and don't have to worry about cleaning your chopsticks beforehand. A bit pricey though, which would explain why it's pretty empty most of the time.

I dined at this restaurant last night and I can't say enough good things about this place! The food is awesome and beautifully presented. The environment is warm, cozy, and conducive to conversation. The owner/chef grew up in Vietnam and since leaving for the States, has worked a decade and a half to finally open up her own restaurant--truly one of the sweetest and most awe-inspiring women in the world. The imperial rolls are heaven--you would be hard pressed to find better. Although the dishes have been slightly americanized (i.e. No tripe and tendon in the Pho), they have authentic roots and are simply delicious. The wait staff could be better and the parking is tricky--but the meal is worth it. Le Regal is a must try for all food lovers. I will definitely be dining there again and will be sure to bring all my friends with me.
