I've been to Fumari countless times and I've never been let down. The vibe is perfect, the staff is super friendly and the hookah is always smooth. If you're looking for a place to kick back and smoke some high quality hookah, this is the place to be! I also order from their website and smoke at home when I can't get out.

Fumari is a great place to go to with a couple of friends to chill and enjoy a really nice cozy hookah experience. You can smell the samples before choosing what hookah flavor you want to try. They've got the biggest selection I've seen. My favorites are Watermelon, White Peach, and Lemon Mint. The best part is there hookahs smoke so smooth, I think it's the coal they use. The hookahs are reasonably priced... it's defiantly cheaper then buying drinks at any club downtown. And if you don't feel like going out at all you can bring Fumari home to you by going to their site.

Pros: Pros: best hookah, big selection, good music, low-key

Cons: Cons: parking

This place is a casual place in downtown, they serve food but they are not a restaurant. Its primarily a hookah bar, a coffee place and a cocktail lounge. This is an 18+ fun place to be at, and you can listen to live DJ music while you sit and enjoy a nice conversation with your friends over a hookah.

This lounge isn't right in the middle of the Gaslamp district but being a block or two away this would make for the perfect date night since you can head out to the Gaslamp after for drinks and dancing. No cover here. They have a happy hour from 7-8pm; hookahs are 1/2 off! They have a pretty decent beer selection, a huge list of teas along with other drinks. They have a huge selection of tobacoo flavors too and are more then willing to help you find your new favorite flavor. While small, it is a much more comfortable place than some other places that use cafeteria like seating. I also spoke to them about their specials. They have some good deals to take their sheesha home with you as well. Yes, this is their own brand too. The staff is friendly and fun as well. Just try to get there early on the weekends to avoid the line and the wait.

Pros: huge selection of tobacco flavors, teas, beers and drinks. Food and cake as well. Fun staff. Happy Hour. No Cover.

Cons: Parking, possible line on the weekend.

If you don't know what to do with your friends, come to Fumari and smoke hookah--during happy hours though. It's pretty good, but I think the drinks are even better! Random music.

Fumari is a great place to come with friends to relax and chat. There is pretty limited seating, so it gets packed at times. It's a little on the pricey side, but you definitely pay for the prime downtown location.

me and a friend saw this place a while back and vowed to come back when there was no line. Last weekend we had our opportunity and we saw what the fuss was about. The hookah was decent and the service was helpful, if this isnt your thing you'll hate it because there isnt much else to do! hookah enthusiasts welcome

I thought this was a great hookah place. It is very casual and kind of small inside, but there are super high cielings, and it's dimly lit so you don't feel cramped. There are also floor-to-cieling removable windows, which they open up so it feels nice and open at night. Seating is available out on the sidewalk, but I would recommend sitting inside. There are comfortable seats along the wall which would be great for groups. I sat on a small table in the middle as I was with only one other person. We got a hookah to share, and thought it was pretty decent sheesha. There was a really big selection too. The service was really good. We also ordered tea, and I had a delicious frozen drink. Definitely not for groups larger than 6 because it isn't too big. We asked about the DJ, but never got a clear answer, so I think they don't have that anymore.

I was a little disappointed with my two experiences at Fumari and felt that the place was overrated. It's a very small place on the corner of G street. The line can be really long to get in and I don't think it's worth the wait. The hookah is quite good (there are plenty of flavors to chose from), but it's on the pricier side, and like I said, the wait can be long. I would much rather go to someplace less crowded and quieter. The quality of the hookah is not enough to get me to go back.

This is my favorite hookah bar in san diego. Located right next to the Horton plaza, fumari is always packed with people even during the early happy hours. For 18 dollars a hookah, the price is a little high but there is no entrance fee. It has a clean dark atmosphere that no other place has.

Great smokeshop with an appropiately darkened interior. Hookas are nice and constantly maintained. This place gets packed on weekends. Great place to relax and unwind with some friends

A place where the money is worth it. I wish every hookah place was like fumari. The enviroment is very soothing and they offer the best hookah's in town. The cost 18 bucks to get a hookah but its well worth it for the variety of flavors
