I don't go to the Shores much but I've dined at Piatti's and it is always good. I love Italian food and I'm pretty picky so 4 stars from me means worth a trip.

My family and i love going to Piatti for a delicious breakfast lunch or dinner on casual days or fancy days. The food tastes great and the atmosphere is so nice.

Hesitate to write a great review because I don't want the place to be packed every night. But it sounds like the secret it out! Piatti has delicious italian cuisine in downtwon la jolla shores.

Piatti is a great Italian restaurant in walking distance to La Jolla beaches. The food is absolutely fabulous with great service. There is something for everyone.

Piatti's has a wonderful selection of delicious italian foods, and has a great atmosphere. Their desserts are amazing. The restaurant is located right near the beach, so not only can you eat an amazing dinner, you can also watch a beautiful sunset.

Awesome service and great atmoshpere is what brings people to this restraunt. The food is fantastic and it is an old favorite place in La Jolla. They give lots of food for a good price and you will not be disapointed.

I am a Piattis kid, plain and simple! I grew up at Piatti with my famous order of penne with butter and cheese "no green stuff". It is all I could ask for in a restaurant, I go there about once a week, not only for the out of this world food, but for the staff that has become family. Its hard to find a place where (I kid you not) EVERYTHING on the menu is delicious. So take your friends, take your family, Piattis is my number one restaurant.

Piatti's is an absolute favorite in every dimension. The menu choices are extensive. Quality of food is outstanding. Lovely indoor and outdoor dining. The service is the very best. They will do anything if you are having a party to make it a great success. Changes at the last minute are no problem.

Piatti's is located near La Jolla Shores. It is a lovely dining experience away from the chaos of downtown La Jolla. Though it is part of a chain with locations throughout California, Piatti seems like a family run operation. The staff is very professional and always willing to accomodate requests. The patio is a lovely place to dine. The Italian menu is quite extensive. Tables are generously served bread and a house olive oil dip that is truly amazing

This year for Valentines Day I had to find a place to take my Date. I asked her to go with me around 4ish that day. So I need to find a place quickly and a place that is really good. Another problem is that I have never been to La Jolla. So after search online I found Piatti. And the rest was great! I called them at 4 and they were booked for tonight but they said they would put me in if I can. They sat us within 20 mins. Reservations are Highly Recommended but even on V-Day they made room for us. The food is amazing! Price is good also. A good "Antipasti" is about 10-12 bucks and the meals are about 20ish bucks. Some cheaper and some more. We got the fired calamari and 2 huge pastas for 50 bucks plus tip. It was amazing! The service is great!
Also the place is one street in from the beach and water. So you can eat there then walk around the beach after your done! This place is great!
I give it 5 stars!

Best Pasta in La Jolla!

I just joined citysearch and was surprised to see only one review for Piatti! This place is always packed and always great service and food. Their lemon ravioli are out of this world, I would have them every night if I could afford it. The only downside is how busy they are, sometimes this can be fun, but other times I'd prefer a quiter evening.
