3 Stars: Ok (by Kerry H.)

The pho is alright, better than Pho 79 but not great. The Bun Bo Hue is ok and the eggrolls are good. I would only come back because none of the other pho near my house are even satisfactory.

4 Stars: Excellent Fresh Vietnamese Take-Out (by B.J. E.)

Food Critic Jonathon Gold loves this place too.
Traditional pho, egg rolls, and other traditional dishes always served with heaps of fresh greens and tasty sauces.
Take out is wonderful. The food is always carefully packaged - they even separate the noodles from the broth so it's fresher tasting when you mix it yourself! Prices are very cheap. Our family of four rarely spends more than $20! Conveniently close to San Marino.

PROS: Great food, Great Quality & Cheap
CONS: Atmosphere Non-existent

2 Stars: Less than stellar food and crowded (by Teresa P.)

Here's a great business opportunity for enterprising folks out there - high-quality Vietnamese food. I had asked someone who works in the area about good V-food and this place was her answer. Needless to say, I was highly disappointed (my expectations were too high). I've been here twice now, and each time, I marvel at the economy with which they make their dishes - use a lot of noodles, chicken-broth the beef noodle soup, give out old raggedy vegetables, and don't really use wraps that have egg in it for the eggrolls. On top of that, they're too crowded (how is that possible!!??), and the usual service quality for V-restaurants - poor.

PROS: Catchy name?
CONS: Ingredients in the food, poor service, hygiene and odor issues

3 Stars: (by Lionel Z.)

It's a little too dark and crowded inside; outside, a bunch of people are waiting impatiently to get in; the waiters generally ignore me when I wanted more tea... this is just not an ideal place to eat.

But their Golden Fried Egg Rolls are so good that I didn't care too much about the environment: it's simply the best egg rolls I've ever had. These hot, lightly fried rolls look very attractive; take a bite and you'll like it. Wrapping them in fresh vegetable leaves is a genius idea, it gives them a new, different flavor that I like a lot.
