One of the best little cafes in Pasadena. Great atmosphere, beautiful patio, awesome chill spot. It is one of the few remaining cafes in the area that provide a atmosphere suitable for study. Worth a visit

Patio is gorgeous. I wanted to study out there but there wasn't enough lighting. I didn't like the fact that the bathroom was outside. I was wearing boots and each time I walked, I made sooo much noise on the hard wood floors. I loved the

They brew Gavina coffee here and have a few options to choose from. Their pricing is so-so $1.45 for a small cup of coffee or $1.75 for a large, with $0.50 for refills. They don't have much of a selection for pastries.

The unique part of this cafe is that they have two small rooms with small tables and couches to lounge, chat, do work. They also have 2 outside patios, one at the entrance, and one at the side with tables and chairs. This is great for a nice day in Pasadena, which is quite often.

The workers are okay. They'll talk to you but otherwise, they aren't on the top of the scale for excellent customer service.

Lastly, if you have a good wi-fi card you can get free wi-fi from the Comfort Inn across the street, otherwise just sit outside in the front patio and you'll receive it.

PROS: 2 outside patios, fair coffee, wi-fi from Comfort Inn
CONS: mediocre service, food options

Very quiet and intimate cafe with art work surrounding you on the walls of this coverted home. I really like the outsides creative landscaping. Good coffee and tea served in large mugs. Unforunately its cash only and it closes somewhat early on the weekends.

This is a great local coffee shop. Its in a converted craftsman home, so each room is small, quaint and comfy. Each room as overstuffed couches, and local art on the walls. I believe they have local music on the weekends.

The coffee and tea is great, served in large mugs to hold. They have games in the various rooms and often have fresh flowers on the tables.

This is an ideal place for a date, study lounge or meeting with an old friend.

Cash only, so dont expect to use your debit card.

An intimate cafe to chat with friends, either in the remodeled craftsman interior or the creatively manicured garden outside, Zephyr has live music 2/3 days a week, usually very mellow. Decent food and coffee as well, but perhaps it's most stunning feature (besides the lovely interiors) is the artwork it has on display. This is a very art-focused cafe. Be aware - it's not currently open on Sundays.

Although the Zephyr is an art gallery too, I would put it more in the Coffeehouse category.

This is, by far, my favorite coffeehouse in Pasadena. This beautifully remodeled Craftsman home is the perfect place to read, journal or hang out

A very cool coffee house with artwork and occasional live folks music. The place is a converted older home that is very comfortable. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and many little touches to make it a pleasant stay. One of my favorite hangout spots! Drawback: closes at 10pm on weeknights.
