Dr Davis correctly diagnosed my cat as having problems related to diabetes and changed my cat??s medication to a new form of insulin ?? Lantus. Because Dr. Davis was willing to try something new ?? but tested?? my cat made a full recovery. She took additional time to explain the feline bodily processing of insulin and had a technician come in and teach me ?? hands on ?? how to give insulin shots. She then went further and called me at home and spent time following up on how the insulin was working and addressing my concerns.
Dr Davis was thorough, patient and so very helpful.

Dr. Davis and the staff are fantastic at Aliso Beach Animal Clinic. The doctors explain things clearly, and they always answer any questions I have without seeming impatient or rushed. My two black labs get along well with the friendly staff, and I feel like they are genuinely cared for if I ever have to leave either of them there.

Dr Davis, Dr Reid and the staff at Aliso Beach have been wonderful! I recently started taking my 2 rescue dogs there and everyone there is so warm and welcoming. Both doctors are very honest and thorough. Now that Ive found Dr Davis and Dr Reid, I cant imagine taking my little guys anywhere else!

I have been a client of Aliso Beach Animal Clinic for many years; they have taken care of all three of my kitties, and have been more than compassionate and understanding. They handle end-of-life care with respect and compassion, and they do not try to "sell" aggressive treatments As my present kitty deals with chronic renal failure, I know I can trust both Drs. Davis and Reid to provide compassionate, expert care, and to be truthful and compassionate as the illness progresses.

The only downside is that after-hours services are not offered; patients are referred to the emergency clinic in Mission Viejo, which is a long distance. On the plus side, if an emergency occurs during their office hours, they make every effort to work clients into their schedule on the same day. Now that my kitty is chronically ill, that gives me peace of mind.

I also pet-sit, and most of my clients go to Aliso Beach Animal Clinic as well. They were wonderful when I cared for a mutual client's cat who was 21, frail, and went into crisis on my "watch". I cannot say enough good things about Drs. Reid and Davis. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Susan Davis is a patient and compassionate veterinarian. We feel so lucky to have found her to care for our pound puppy, Lillyput! She does not make you nor your pet feel rushed, but gives your pet the attention that they deserve.

Susan Davis is not only a remarkable vet, but she is also a caring person. As a Vet Dr. Davis is talented and exacting--she's saved our current cat Shadow's life twice, once when she performed emergency surgery on Shadow after a racoon attack and a second time when she identified a serious colon illness early enough in its progression to cure it. But perhaps the most impressive thing about Susan how deeply she cares about the animals she treats and about their owners. When our 19 year-old cat was dying, Susan treated her and us with kindness and sensitivity. And, after putting her to sleep (per our request), she took the time to write us a letter telling us that our cat died peacefully and expressing concern and empathy for our pain. My husband and I highly recommend Dr. Susan Davis.

When I moved with my household of pets to Laguna Beach I
was hoping to find another long-term Vet like I was leaving.
Someone I could trust as I did my Vet of 15 years, someone
I knew would REALLY CARE about my husband and my
"kids." I tried about four different Vets and was "not there"
yet when a neighbor suggest Dr. Susan Davis. I was "sold' on
her from the first, she fulfilled all my requirements. That was
eighteen years ago and over the years Susan Davis has gone
WAY OVER what her job description entails. Susan has a very patient presence and the animals sense it. She always
gives the animals "time" to access their situation and relax. Dr. Davis has accurately diagnosed many of our pet's problems right on the spot and with those issues that left any question, Susan always took the time to research them and explain what she discovered. Dr. Davis has always been very
understanding when my husband and I had to decide what we wanted to do next with some of our pet's situations. Susan
has never pressured us. Dr. Davis has been there for us when
it was time to put one of our guys "down." No-one could be
more considerate or professional than Susan when we have been faced with this "next step." Dr. Davis is professional
but she is still a person with "feelings" and that is very important to my husband and myself.
The crew at Aliso Beach Animal Clinic are very professional as well. They will never leave you hanging on the phone for
hours; they will get back to you quickly with questions you
you might have asked; they will fill your pet's prescriptions promptly; they are friendly and honestly like animals; and if
you have an emergency they will work hard to get you in to
the office as soon as possible. The "techs" are skilled and
know what they are doing.
Over all these years together my husband and I have come to
really count on Dr. Davis, as our Vet and as our Friend.
We would be lost without her and her office and we actually
PRAY she will never retire!

I am here to tell you first PAW (hand) about Dr Davis. She is my favorite vet, but mostly she is my friend. When I am sick she takes care of me and makes me better. When I need to have scary tests she is always nice to me and speaks kindly to me to make me know everything will be okay. I love all the technicians and receptionists at her office-I even like those darn cats, but they ignore me! If you love your dog like my Mom loves me you will take him or her to Dr Davis!
I have known Dr Davis since I was a little tiny puppy, now I am a very big dog and she still sits on the floor and lets me lay my head in her lap like when I was little. Someday if I need help, I know Dr Davis will be there to help me continue my journey across the Rainbow Bridge that's what a good vet friend she is.

I have been taking my Golden Retriever "Cody" to Dr. Davis since he was six weeks old-He is now 8 years old. I have moved several times and even though it is a long drive and no longer convenient, the quality and care he receives makes it worth it.
The technicians have never been anything, but kind and caring to my dog. Cody and I have great communication and when he doesn't like someone or his situation is bad he leans on me. When we arrive at Dr. Davis's office he leaps out of the car with his tail wagging. That speaks volumes.

Dr. Reid is an awesome veterinarian and is always calm and quietly reserved. He is very caring for all pets and has been my veterinarian for over 9 years now. I read the comment below and doubt that the person spoke with Dr. Reid.

I had a very bad experience here. For starters, the waiting room is really, really small! On two seperate occasions my 30 lb. dog (who was scared) was dragged across the floor by a vet technician. My dog had surgery for bladder stones by Dr. Paul Reid. Dr. Reid could not get the bladder stones out of my dog's urethra. He ended up referring me to a Surgical Specialist in Tustin. So my dog had two surgeries, two weeks apart. The second Vet was able to remove the stones with no problem. When my dog had surgery here he was left alone from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 a.m. the next day. A friend of mine told me Dr. Reid made rude, insulting comments to her regarding her financial situation
