Nikita our 15 yr husky came into the staffs loving hands at the worst time in her life....We called on a Sun. and had an appt within 2 hours. They were not our regular vets, but they were open on Sun when we needed them so. Eric one of the staff was amazing, he stayed outside with our family and Nikita on the grass and really showed concern not only for us, but for our precious Nikita who was seizuring up until our last I love yous ....My daughter ran out of the room as they prepared Nikita for her final peaceful sleep. After my husband and I said our final goodbyes, we walked outside to see Eric softly speaking to our daughter to make sure she was okay. The whole staff welcomed us with warm smiles and treated all of us as if they had known us for a while, we were not treated like a "new walk-in" The H.B Veterinary Hosp is for sure our new vets, for they are all such a caring group....even to those whom they just met! xo Nikita's family

I want to let people know thta i was visiting the hospital last wed.2/25/08 and the staff was just great, helpful and I would go back there again. Dr. Shepherd cried when my cat had to be put to sleep after an accident at home. Dr girgis called me at home to see how I was. What Doctor does this themselves? I recommened this hospital highly. You will get the best care from all the staff and doctors. I will go back.

This place is the sketchiest vet I have ever visited. First, it is very old and has a dirty appearance. Second, the office staff is rude and acts completely inconvenienced regarding any pet questions. Third, and most important, information given from the vet, technician, and office clerks don't agree. The vet tells you to come back in 2 weeks while the clerks tell you to come back in 4 months. Furthermore, the vet tells you your puppy needs shot A while the clerk, two minutes later, tells you that she needs shot B, followed by the technician who administers shot C. Ever had the feeling that no one knows what's going on? I've had that feeling BOTH times I've gone, and I'm not giving them a third chance. Also, they tried to sell a 6 month package of heartguard with a 25 lb. max to a growing boxer puppy weighing 20 lbs. Does that make sense?! Only one technician, who was very nice, seemed to know what was going on.

Nice vets but very old fashioned ways of practicing medicine. Every animal gets an antibiotic shot and a steroid shot. They make a lot more money that way. Dr. Shepard is quite old and I don't trust him. Dr. Girgis is much more trustworthy.

Although it was easy to get an appointment and there was little waiting time once I arrived, I was a little nervous the clinic & exam rooms feel like they need a serious update and it's always a little nerve-racking when they spray that much room-deodorizer to disguise the smell. Also, the prices for the shots may be reasonable but I would shop around or re-consider going there if your pet needs any minor/major surgery my pet had minor surgery and the price was a few hundred dollars more than it should have been. Personally, I will not return to this clinic.

We've been taking our cats & dogs to HB Vet Hospital ever since I've been alive. They do everything you would ever need, are knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely love animals.

The prices are good, and they have discount days for different services. They're open every day of the week, which eases my mind because odds are that my cats will do something to panic me on a Sunday morning!

They've done regular check-ups on my pets, saved one cat from cancer & helped another through kidney disease. They were kind when my baby died from liver disease, and when another young pet had a rare embolism in his leg that required us to put him to sleep. They make the hard times easier, and even send sympathy cards after a pet's death. They are good people who are experts at their work.

PROS: Great hours, knowledgeable team
CONS: None.

My poor sweet puppy had diarhea, which he unloaded right in the midst of 4or 5 other dogs. Someone happily came out nowhee to clean the mess. She didnt give me any ugly looks either. My puppy had an intestional parasite, which they fully informed me about.
