.

Normally we use Walker Brothers (great company) to move our CNC equipment but through a bid process one of the bean counters in the office decided to give Allied Plant & Machinery Movers Inc. a shot at our business based on a low ball bid. (!!!!!COLOSSAL MISTAKE!!!!!) Yes you guessed it they drop the 14k lb. machine about six inches to the concrete. Initially we told Allied to leave the machine at the location and that we no longer wanted it because it had been dropped. The owner of the company Larry Johnson called us and apologized and said he would cover an inspection service to come out and check the CNC equipment and make sure the equipment was in good order at our location. He even signed an agreement that he would cover any problems the machine may have up to one year. We thought well accidents happen (even though we never had a mover drop our equipment in over 20yrs) so we have AC Tech Solutions Inc. (Great Company) come out and inspect the equipment. The service report shows that some of the machine components are out of alignment due to the drop. They give us a reduced bill for $674.00 which we promptly faxed a copy to Allied. After 4 calls over the course of 4 months the owner Larry Johnson told us to just sue him. Anyone looking to move heavy equipment? Dont call these guys even if its free!!!
