I could not be happier with the decision and the place I went to for my BWM 745Li. The service I was given was outstanding and the car itself is in immaculate condition. The features, quality, and the price were incomparable. I did much research and spoke to different dealerships but BMW MINI repair was the one. All the cars on the lot were of high quality and if a person really wants to own a luxury high quality vehicle then BMW MINI repair is the place to go. If you are serious about selecting a BMW MINI repair make sure you contact this facility. Oh yeah I almost forgot to mention i got free car wash and free rental car. Thanks..
I needes service on my BMW which had rough running and warning light on at dashboard. I Google it and found this great place who is specializing on BMW and was factory techninician which make me feel comfortable. I drove my BMW in and was very empressed by the shop enviroment same as dealer ship show room, the estimate was fair and hones, I got free loaner car and car wash, I am happy and highly recommend. Thanks.
My BMW develope coolant leak and check engine light on ? I was at work at FOX studio while filming and needed quick repair, I check around for reliable BMW repair shop who is also less costly than S.M.BMW dealer. I called this BMW place and asked if they are BMW specialty shop same as the delaer and I was given all the information which convinced me to let them repair my car, they send tow truck to pick up my car and call me later with the estimate which I approved. My car was ready the next day ,car washed and I got also free shuttle to pick up my car. I am very pleased with this BMW shop who is going to be my regular shop from now on. I highly recommend this BMW shop. Thank you very much for quick hones service. Yours.

Pros: All Proffesional trained
Went to get a check engine light code read.
The car was running perfectly and the light had just come on.
I was told that they would check the car out and be done in 4 hours. I went home and called them in 4 hours and was told the problems were so numerous that they could not be conveyed on the phone.
2 hours later I was emailed exactly 6 emails specifying over $3000 in "required service". I went back to the shop immediately to take my car and get a 2nd opinion.
When I got back to the shop to take my car, I could not because all 4 wheels were removed as well as various parts from the doors (which still rattle now and didn't before) and engine compartment. This was odd because I was specifically told that nothing would be done to the car unless I approved of it first. They said the soonest I could have my car back was the next day at noon!
Then the lies started to come out. One mechanic said there was a very, very small oil leak. Then another said the leak was big and that the car was unsafe to drive anywhere (like to get a 2nd opinion). Then I was told that a solenoid needed to be changed. They said that would be $1000; $250 for the part and $720 for 4.8 hours of professional labor. Having seen the steps to change the part myself online I knew they were lying because the part is clearly visible under the hood and takes less than 5 minutes for really anyone to change. I got out as soon as I could and will never go back. I just hope that others can be warned.
Pros: I can perform the service 57x faster than the pros here
Cons: Read the bad reviews too. ALL +'s were done by owner.
Clearly all the good reviews were written by the owner.
My jaw hit the floor when I found out how many people got scammed there... I guess I'm not the only one.
Multiple investigations by the BAR
REVOKED license by AAA (I called and checked!)
REVOKED license by BBB (Yes, it is verified)
I'll say this: Simply stay away. You have been warned.
Pros: Pros? Yeah right...
Cons: Contact the BBB, the AAA and BAR for a full list
I've been taking my 2004 VW Touareg to a VW Dealer for a couple of years. I have had a nagging problem with the car stalling and it never seemed to be fixed, no matter how many hundreds of dollars I put into it In fact, I've spent over $3000 at the OTHER mechanic, and the problem was never fixed.
One visit to Autotech International, and my VW runs like a dream. They kept the car for a week, drove it everywhere, tested everything, and finally replaced what they suspected the problem was. Indeed, they were right! Best of all, the labor price was VERY fair and I was not upsold to get a bunch of services the car didn't need.
If you have a European car, hell, any car, bring it to these guys. I'm never going anywhere else!
Pros: great quality. gets the job done
My 2006 745i BMW. It is still under warranty, but it doesn't cover the maintenance warranty. My car was due for a service, and the BMW dealership was way too high. I began to look on the internet for some BMW shops, near my area, and ran across BMW Repair I called a few places before I called BMW, but when I spoke with Ron he seemed so pleasant, and patient in the questions I asked, so I thought I'd give him a try. To my pleasant surprise, everyone seemed to be very friendly, and made me feel very comfortable, and safe with bringing my car there, The place was very clean, and I was given a lot of advice and information in regards to my vehicle. The service was quick, and the price was very reasonable. What I liked most of all, was that they didn't try to take advantage of my lack of knowledge. They checked everything out for me, even some things I thought I might need, Ron told me I didn't. It's rare you find a repair shop, that doesn't try to rip you off. I now have found a reliable, trust worthy repair shop the first time around. Thanks Ron for your honesty!
Pros: BMW Best
I should have looked them up on the Better Business Bureau (where they have 9 complaints, as of today) before going in. Routine brake pads needed, should be in the neighborhood of $500. Called me back saying the Mini needed $1,500 worth of work; it only has 18,000 miles on it and was just serviced!
When I went to get the car, he had all of the wheels off and refused to put them back on until he was paid $200 for the "Free" quote. Shoddy and unethical business practices. I wish I have paid more notice to how the dates of the "good" reviews are all clumped together. Clearly faked.
Unless money and honestly are not issues for you, absolutely no good can come from bringing your car to "Rotten" Ronny at Autotech International in Culver City.
Cons: Dishonest, Bait & Switch, Overpriced
BMW MINI REPAIR is a fantastic place to take your BMW This was amazing, my car got stuck and I couldn't start it, I called BMW Autotech for advice and the tech asked if I have another key, I did try with my second key and car start right up, thanks, I will be coming again soon. visiting BMW Service for the first time, I'm compelled to write a review based on my recent experience. My BMW had been leaking oil and coolant and the dealer quoted me an outrageous amount to get it fixed. After a little bit of research I called BMW MINI Repair in Culver City and got a quote that was 30% lower than the dealer. I brought in my car and the guys at BMW determined that some of the repairs the dealer recommended weren't even necessary!! My car is running great and I ended up paying about half of what I would've paid with the BMW dealer. The folks at BMW MINI are prompt, courteous, trustworthy and really look out for the best interest of the customer. I got free car was and free loaner car. Thanks for the wonderful service.??
Pros: God Service
If everyone ran a business like BMW MINI Repair, life would be much easier. BMW MINI Repair and staff were professional BMW master technician who were trained in Germany with all the factory tools and original BMW parts all work is one year warranty. reliable, friendly and gave me multiple options on how to deal with all the things needed to be fixed on my car. after dealing with other BMW shop, I found found BMW MINI Repair about a third of their costs. Pros: Quality Proffesional
I had no idea where to go...all I know is that I was never, ever returning to Santa Monica MBZ which used, abused and cheated me for 3 years. I called several different places and felt very comfortable with these guys on the phone. They are friendly, honest, Professional,Factory Trained and all the Factory tools and Computer Scanner, quick and explain everything. My brakes were fixed in less than 24 hours, and my car washed when I picked it up Santa Monica MBZ used to return my car dirtier than I left it!. I am very pleased with the reasonable pricing 25 % less than MBZ dealer. The friendly and quality service I received. Thanks I will be back!

Cons: ALL FACTORY
After visiting AUDI / VW Service for the first time, I'm compelled to write a review based on my recent experience. My AUDI had been leaking oil and coolant and the dealer quoted me an outrageous amount to get it fixed. After a little bit of research

I am just another person to complain about this shop. I phoned, emailed and personally dropped off a demand letter to him. I will update this with a nicer reivew if he agreed to refund my money for his services he did not provide. If not, I will see him in court after stopping payment on with my credit. Let me just say, I dropped off a non running car with him, and received a non running car in worse shape and $631 less in my pocket. Lier and cheater and with his son in the shop, he should be ashamed of himself.
He provided no estimate other then a phone call stating it would be a couple hundred to take car apart to look in engine. He will get whats coming to him and his son is an eagle scout?? He must not ake after a father like that. Shame on you Mr Benor.
Cons: overcharge, bad service, NO ESTIMATE, bad cutomer service
I had the most horrendous experience with Autotech. On my way to SoCal for an entire week of vacation, the A/C in my Honda stopped working and I drove it to this shop on a Monday afternoon and after the initial diagnosis and estimate, the repair work was supposed to be completed by Tuesday evening.
After following up with them for 5 days in a row, multiple times a day, I finally got my car, 4 days late, on Friday evening and the owner gave me a bill of $600 above the original estimate !!!!
This besides the fact that Ron was downright rude over the phone and was not at all interested in talking to me or taking time out to explain the problem.
They kept on saying that the parts needed for repair are not to be found in the entire SoCal and that my car would be ready the next day and on the next day the same story continued.
They should have checked the availability of the parts at the time of giving me the estimate (Tuesday morning)
Although they agreed to give me a loaner, it ruined my entire vacation because everyday I would have to change my plans as my car won't be ready in the evening on that day and I wouldn't know if I could leave LA or not.
Here is the kicker, I called some Honda dealers in the area around and I was able to locate the parts needed, they were readily available !!! I even volunteered to drive down to those dealers and pick the parts up myself but Autotech refused saying they had already ordered them from some other place and they would arrive the next day morning, this continued for 3 freaking days!!
Some trivia, the Honda warehouse for California is located in ...... no points for guessing .... LA
I would give them a negative 10 rating for
- Being rude
- Not doing due diligence of checking availability of parts
- Trying to charge me more than the original estimate without getting my consent on the increase in estimate
- Employing delay tactics to wear me down
- Overcharging me just because some of my repair was going to be covered by my insurance
- Being highly unprofessional
- Ruining my vacation
Pros: are you kidding

I would like to file formal complain against this individual who impersonate himself as 3 different people,
I tried to contact Timothy B by e-mail.Timothy response was rude and nasty. send E-mail to Dan H and asked to produce document to prove that his car was serviced at this shop, never response to our request the only response was nasty ,last person Tbrandt never response to our request to produce any documents to proof service at the shop. Same person with same typing different accounts filing similar complains at YELP,INSIDER PAGES & CITY SEARCH..This is against all rules which I have read, WE request to investigate and remove all of the above complains which was filed without proof or justification.
Pros: Good Quality and Honest.
I am the owner of Autotech. I don't see any relevant information about this claim ? we at Autotech follow the CA rules and regulation by giving the customer upfront estimate,if customer agree and authorized there should be no complains. I am ASE master technician and factory trained and certified and did the diagnose on this VW. I found powertrain management codes relating to lean misfire and adaption value over limit, the oxygen sensor which is a very expensive part original VW at $198.75,bad idling code, which would require some work replacing intake gasket and some leak repair at air intake, breather hose and vacuum line.reprogram the car PCM and re-set all adaptation value for better performance with better gas miles so it will not pollute the environment, the total estimate would be $500.00 customer claimed he did some research online the previous day, and saw that he can get an oxygen sensor not original factory by VW for $40
Pros: Best Good Quality Shop
Avoid this shop at all costs.
Ronny B. gave me the old bait and switch. My engine code was on, which I was fairly certain was due to a faulty oxygen sensor. I called around and this shop told me it was most likely a loose hose and they could take care of it for $90.
When I brought the car in, I was met by a sleazy guy named Ronny B. He gave me the smooth talk that he would check my car out and find ALL the problems. He called me the next day and said that there were several things wrong with it, and he would need it for a few days. He cited 5 engine codes, and said it would be pretty expensive. He cited the oxygen sensor, and a rough idle, and said it would cost at least $500.
When I told him the I looked up the oxygen sensor online, and found one for $40 that I could change myself - he got completely irrate. He said 'WHAT, WHAT I do not deal with people like you. Look up on internet??? NO! Come give me my money!" SLAM! He hung up the phone - not once, but twice when I called him back.
Thank god, I took my car back. I ended up buying the top of the line O2 sensor for $90, which screwed in, easily. And, the rough idle was solved by a $3 bottle of carb cleaner.
Don't fall into Ronny B's trap - you're smarter than that.
By the way, all the 5 star reviews on this and other sites are clearly written by him, and he's obviously not smart enough to cover it up. You're smarter than to fall for that, too.
Cons: they will cheat you
