If you are craving for cheese cakes, the ones served here are great, I can say. Not much sugar but the taste is really nice.

Best hidden gem, breakfast spot in Santa Clarita!!! They have the best hash browns, hands down!! I always get an eggs and sausage/bacon meal with hash browns and a side of biscuits and gravy (the biscuits and gravy are to die for!!!). If you haven't tried this place yet, check it out! You won't be disappointed! It's a popular spot, however, so arrive at an off hour on the weekends or be prepared to stand in line. Everyone else LOVES this place too!!! :)

As a small hole-in-the-wall, anyone who stops in and eats here (first time or even regularly) will attest to how BIG the crowd is just to get a table. On a normal day, the place has an average number of customers, but on the weekends--be prepared to stand for about an hour...

BUT!--

It's totally worth the wait. I have never eaten such delicious foods, and their corned beef hash and french toast dishes are absolutely fantastic. For a small restaurant, this place has portions as big as their aspirations.

The service is great, the cooks definitely work their butts off, but I've never once had a bad meal or wrong order.

This is where I send ALL of my friends who visit (from in or out of state) to get the best breakfast. Kudos to your many years of business in Newhall! Bob would be proud!

This is a breakfast and lunch diner that chooses to stick to what it knows best. No fuss, no long menu list, no nonsense, just good old fashion American breakfast. The hash browns are a must, crispy on the top and fluffy with a bit of sauted onion on the inside. The lines can get long during weekend mornings so just relax, grab a cup of coffee and bring some change for the juke box.

Cons: Long Lines On Weekends

A local landmark for breakfast. It sure doesn't look like much, in fact, it never has but the breakfasts are huge. You get tons of food for a reasonable price. A hole in the wall but a gem.

Quantities are unbelievable, great breakfasts. We ate their a few months ago, it gets a bit crowded, but that is to be expected. The place has a down-home feel!. The Oh So Good - Is the Food, the Oh So Bad is the Calories.

Serves the best breakfast in the Santa Clarita Valley. Good parking in the rear. Old school-style breakfast where watching calories is a no-no. Try the Cris Special.

The Way Station is a little bitty coffee shop located in Downtown Newhall. There is very limited parking in their lot, and very limited seating in their dining room. However, the restaurant has the best breakfast in town, and a line out the back door to prove it. While you may have to wait to be seated, it is definitely worth the wait. Everything is always served fresh and made to order. The waitstaff are attentive and nice, and the atmosphere is that of an old-time diner. Eat here. You won't regret it.

PROS: Fabulous for Breakfast
CONS: Long wait times

This restaurant is filled with the hustle and bustle of people. Old license plates and signs add to the ambience. The service is great, but the line usually goes out the door with people waiting to be seated. This is not the place for delicate crepes and omelettes. The food has portions and taste fit for a ranchhouse.

No french-fries, no French food, no French waiter...this place is comfortable, casual, eclectic and has a real 50's coffee shop kind of feel. They serve up wonderfully large down-home style breakfasts with THE BEST hash browns and pancakes I have ever had! My recommendation from the menu...try the 'Kris Special' with extra sausage gravy on the side or a short stack of their buttermilk pancakes with bacon!

This small hole in the wall has the best breakfast in town. People that live there know about this place based on the good word it creates. They have great beligan waffles, pancakes, and absolutely astounding hash browns. This small place has it's own truckers feel with license plates from across the country all over the walls, along with old versions of car makers advertisements. Great service too...but make sure to get their early on weekend mornings or be prepared to wait. If you have to wait..it's definitely worth it!
