I love Thai food and always enjoy the food. They never seem busy but i am happy with my dishes. I would like to see them have more dishes to the menu or have new specials.

We've tried many Thai restaurants in west LA since moving here in June, including others in the area. Thai food in LA is excellent to begin with, but we decided to give Thai House "a go" because we can easily walk there, even though some of its competitors always appeared busier and more popular, leading us to believe it might not be as good.

Happily, we tried it one night and were pleasantly surprised at just how good it is. I can highly recommend the garlic pepper shrimp, panang curry, and pad see ew. Prices are reasonable, service is pleasant but sometimes they seem understaffed. Interiors are cool contemporary and conducive to a relaxed atmosphere.

Very different setting from most of Thai restuarant in LA. Once you walked in and see high wood ceiling, already make you feel like your're not in a typical Thai restuarant. Modern setting but nothing like Thai styled decorations, my guess is to fit LA life style. Food and taste was above average, you'll find a 12+ inch fried catfish here along with other fresh made food. With full bar, you can find some of the original drink from there too, no doubt it's a good place for niteout. I haven't gone during lunch yet but dinner was worth atry. One bad thing is parking, which they don't have but there was plenty of side street to park. Music is somewhat not the kind that'll make you feel asleep while you dine in. Service was fine, they are as friendly as you can get and not bothering you as much.

Need to get away from the crowds and wanna-be's and try some great Thai Food, well then head on over to Pico Blvd and the Thai House. Try the spicy eggplant dish and any of the drinks from the bar. The atmosphere may be rustic but the bartender is first rate. Actually I don't think they have a bartender, I think I've seen the waiters make the drinks themselves. And they've yet to learn the concept of watering down the drinks and hopefully never will. Maybe this is my favorite place to eat cuz' I can just crawl home and not worry about driving after a few Thai House style martini's. That and the food is great! Hell the spicy eggplant dish is a great chaser for a Martini.

That's their specialty dish, not listed on the menu and it's very tasty. The music is sometimes erratic, the waitress forgets to bring you a pen with the credit card receipt, but the food is good and the ambience is simple yet elegant.
