Boll Weevil

Hamburgers prepared to your liking served on a toasted bun--YUM. The burger are accompanied by a lot of condiments like relish, red onions, mustard, ketchup, peppers, pickles, etc. so you can fix it just right. Good shoestring fries too.

I'm one of those people who will go far and wide for a great burger. Fortunately for San Diegans, the Boll Weevil locations are numerous and convenient. The pub atmosphere is still family-friendly. Not only is the BW burger terrific, but they wisely bring a great condiment tray to the table, so you can add slices of dill pickles, red onions, lettuce, tomato, and the dressings of your choice. A BW burger with the condiment tray and onion rings or fries is my idea of a great lunch. Better yet, BW likes to advertise with 2-fer coupons, so you can take someone with you to enjoy the Boll Weevil experience on a budget. Now, can someone please explain to me how they came up with the weird name?

THE BOLL WEEVIL IN BONITA IS FANTASTIC. THE HAMBURGERS ARE ONE OF A KIND. THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS AND THE SERVICE IS GREAT!
THE CONDIMENTS MAKE IT SO GREAT. I DON'T THINK THAT I HAVE HAD SUCH A VARIETY OF CONDIMENTS IN ALL MY LIFE. THEY HAVE SO MANY THAT YOU DON'T REALIZE THAT YOU ARE EATING A HAMBURGER. ALL OF THE LITTLE LEAGUE TEAMS WOULD GO TO BOLL WEEVIL AFTER THEIR GAMES.
