skin deep scars

So, I went here because I was recommended by a friend. It was a little over a week before my wedding. I went in for the full monte bikini wax as a surprise for my husband. Well, Rose was the woman who was assigned to me. She was packed for the day and I was a little late, and so she said she would have to rush. I did not know that this meant she would rush through it so quickly that I would still have scaring 2 months later. I did move a bit and she said there would be a little bruising. But these aren't bruises. The skin is now permanently discolored. It's not like horrible or anything, but it's something I have to live with. The wax also felt hotter than normal and even she thought that was odd, but she kept on with it anyway. Needless to say, it was not a good experience. And it grew back more quickly than the first time I'd done it. The first time I did it I was in a small city in Brazil. Way less painful and lasted at least 2 weeks longer. I'm sure there are plenty of great places around, but I have not found one yet....

I thoroughly enjoyed the quietness and and mood of the facility. Very tranquil too. The massage and facial was the perfect duo. I loved the fact that I didnt have to change rooms. My facialist gave me great information on my skin and it has cleared up really nicely with the products I purchased.

i like the fact that this spa offers both a spa and my favorite--pedicure and manicures!! i think the most relaxing thing in the world is getting a massage and at the same time getting your nails and toes done! even though the work done here is like any other place, super and nice, i like the experience i get from coming here because i can get two of my favorite things at the same time!

This is a great spa to go to. They will pamper you like you never been pamper before. The place is very relaxing and gives me a great sense of atmosphere. They did an awesome job giving me a facial and massage. The price there was very fair and reasonable. I feel like a new person after an hour session here.

The first time I went here, I got a GC for Mother's Day and got a package that included a facial, body scrub and massage. It was the most soothing 2 hours I had felt in a long time! The music alone will put you to sleep! Now, I go there for my eyebrow waxes and occasionally other little things. They are all so nice and personable!

This is a great place to go to get the I've Been Pampered feeling in a super peaceful setting. The second you walk in through the door, you know they are going to make you feel fabulous. The prices are moderate, layout and cleanliness of the facility are great. The only drawback is that it is next to a Bally's and parking can be extremely bad.

When I first moved here, I stopped by one day to get my eyebrows done. I got lucky, they were busy, but Rose had an opening shortly, so I took it. When Rose invited me into the heated massage bed, just to get my eyebrows tweezed, I was sold. Everyone at Skin Deep is friendly and knowledgeable. I mostly get facials with Rose at Skin Deep. She is wonderful, calming, and really takes the time. She'll give suggestions on products but I don't feel like she's pushing things on me, like you do at some places. And the entire staff is friendly and knows their stuff. You'll never feel rushed or pressured here.
They have a large waiting/lobby/gift store area. I've gotten several gifts here. - Cute stuff that you don't find elsewhere. They also sell Bare Minerals here, the next closest place I know to get it is South Coast Plaza.
Skin Deep is all around my favorite spa.
Pros: The atmosphere is nice and soothing. The entire staff is very knowledgeable.

ZEN TASTIC !!

I went through the Zen Water Experience and had a massage. We'll first I left the spa with no make-up on, then later that evening we met up w/some of my daughter?s classmates & families. I was feeling so very relaxed one of the moms said to me it looks like you have been on vacation. She said I looked stressed free. I told her a took a mini vacation at Skin Deep at their new Zen Water Experience, I?m totally hooked on it and will be back again!

Rose makes me bloom!!

Rose has been an incredible, healing, caring, skin care provider. My recent visit with her was FABULOUS. Rose is an asset to my well being in every way. I always look forward to my visits to Skin Deep. It was a surprise and a pleasure to see my former student, Taylor, at the front desk. Again, I shout out to the spa, and especially to Rose and to Courtney....Run, don't walk to Skin Deep!!!

I travel every quarter and have had the great privilege to go to the top hotel and days spas. Skin Deep in Huntington Beach, ranks as high as any of the 5 Star hotels and spas that I go to! Skin Deep has great consistency in customer service, quality of work, it is always clean and very well staffed, and it is priced so ALL types of people can afford to experience spa. I have only had an EXCELLENT experience. For the past many years I have driven to Corona to Glen Ivy and I will never go back there again after going to Skin Deeps ZEN WATER EXPERIENCE! I can not believe that such a beautiful, meditative environment exists in our backyard. I have met the owner a few times, she is a very savvy business woman who has run the business for 18 years. I highly recommend this spa for facials, massage, colonic; I have tried all the services. LOVE IT! I signed up for there email and everymonth I get great savings on a variety of services and even Gift Certificates. I ask for a gift certificate from Skin Deep for my birthday, anniversary and mothers day. My husband, boss and kids know the place to get me the perfect present is here, as Skin Deep

Best Facial and Massage Ever

Wow, what a great experience! I walked into the newly expanded Skin Deep The Body Spa in Huntington Beach. They have been in the same location for 17 Years. What a beautiful Boutique and Day Spa. I have visited spas all over Orange County and this was by far the best in customer service that I have received ANYWHERE! THEY REALLY CARE ABOUT YOU! Not only is Skin Deep beautifully decorated and designed, I especially like that they offer both couple's and TRIPLE treatment rooms! I am going to come back with with some girl friends and do a girls' night out at the spa! We can enjoy facials or massages in one of the triple rooms, then kick back & relax upstairs in the Tea Room. I found the spa to be immaculately clean and the Therapists are clearly quite intelligent and very well versed in all areas of wellness. I am going to do Laser Hair Removal and have some facial veins removed in 2 weeks and I can hardly wait! Then I plan to schedule a Colon Hydro Cleanse...I hear Julie, Skin Deep's Colon Hydrotherapist, is the best in Orange County!

Best Waxing in the area.

For waxing, this place is the best there is! Everyone is great and experienced. I used to get ingrown hairs frequently but after using the Smooth Ride Pads from Skin Deep I dont get ingrowns any more! I love the product! Thanks to my aesthetician I am smooth & happy.
