Now I know it almost sounds like an oxymoron to use the phrase reliable mechanic, but this place actually has some.The mechanics are knowledgeable and pretty fast.

I have had them do everything from simple oil changes to engine work and have been pleased with the work.

Being at this gas station will remind you that you're in south central, or south LA as they're caling it now. People will constantly try to wash your windows for money or just flat out ask for it. It's convenient for me because of the location but I usually try to avoid it if I can.

I use this gas station because it is the closest one to where I live, and prices and the gas are generally good. However, many of the homeless panhandle and beg customers for money, and I have also witnessed customers nearly coming to blows because of how crowded the station is. I don't know what the station can really do about these problems. It is well lit and clean, but it is located closer to downtown.
