Great place to go for a day on the course. The weather is a lot better then the city and the staff is very friendly.

I don't play very often, but I had a chance to get out and decided to try something new. I'm not sure how the pace is on the weekends, but I played on a Fri morning and the pace was great. \r

The course was well kept with the fairways green and trim and the greens nice and fast. It was one of the more difficult courses I played at, but I had a great time and would definitely recommend it.

Pros: overall great course

Cons: it's a little more on the expensive side, but I think it's pretty fair

I have the same basic reaction to all courses designed by Johnny Miller - way too difficult for the average player and no fun. The Bridges is, like all Miller courses, well maintained and has the feel of a high end country club, but its just not that fun to play due to the difficulty level. I am a single digit handicap and did not enjoy my experience at the Bridges and would not return, especially at the price they charge. Callippe Preserve down the road in Pleasanton is a much better course, hard but fair and just more pleasant. Miller should stick to broadcasting, which is his full time job at NBC.

Situated in San Ramon this course with its many elevation changes, narrow fairways, and its tough greens was an incredible challenge. I look forward to going back soon.
