For Pets Only

I call this place THE GUYS. (They might want to reconsider changing the name. No offense to the gals that works there, but they're mostly guys there and they're very helpful.)

Love this place. I come here often, this is part of my route when I walk. I could find anything here, and if I can't THE GUYS would always ask if I would like them to order it for me.

You see! This is what I mean about this place. It's a small store, and yet, it has everything!

And again, the Guys knows everything pet related.

This is my neighborhood pet store. They are always so sweet with my dog and more helpful than any other store - whether its a pet store or not. They always give me free samples and coupons which is great considering pet supplies can get quite costly. The staff is extremely knowledgable and never have that snotty LA attitude. They might not have the most varied selection but they have all the stuff that matters and will order anything you want if they dont already have it. I love them and will never go anywhere else!!

Nice small pet shop in the Los Feliz community. I certainly prefer this to Petco or Petsmart. The staff is great, and they offer pet foods that are a little more on the organic side. The pet shop itself, I would defintately recommend, but the groomer, I have doubts about :S

This store is great, it's small yet well stocked and there's every type of pet food here for dogs, cats, birds, fish, reptiles, amphibians, rodents, whatever. And the staff is knowledgeable about feeding, housing, grooming, again, they help with just about everything. With little kids, it's fun to visit even if we don't need pet stuff.

PROS: great location, friendly staff, good products
CONS: tight parking in the strip mall lot, closes earlier than later

What makes this pet store so great? It's partly that the staff groovy and laidback animal-lovers who know a ton about pet care. It's partly that they host adoptions for Sante D'Or, an animal rescue group that also offers holistic animal healing services. It's partly that whenever I go there, there's always some good music playing. It's partly that they give free samples of dry food for cats. It's partly that they have awesome animal toys. For Pets Only is one of my favorite places to browse on a Sunday afternoon. Check it out!
