sometimes you go to a place and just know THIS is the PLACE ! great decor , GREAT food , and a small town atmosphere. the owner Mark I think his name was is always helpful and knows everyone ...I felt like I was at CHEERS !!!!

can't wait to go back.

I suppose in woodside it is hard to avoid pretentious crowd. Alas, ignore the attitudes and you'll find good food and great bakery here. I like to stop by for lunch here.

When you first walk into the bakery the baked goods in the glass cases are overwhelming - they look marvelous. Many of them taste as good as they look. I have only bought things from them a few times so it is difficult to comment about consistency. The bakery as well as the cafe is delicious but not cheap.

We love the Woodside Bakery for a long lunch on the patio with their signature cranberry/walnut salad with hot bread or for a delicious breakfast treat and a cup of coffee. The menu is very interesting with choices for everyone. We love the pizza! Good wines by the glass for adults. Woodside is a great getaway !

The lunches are to die for, but when they brought their home made bread along with my salad...I was in heaven. I go there now to pick up bread to bring home for dinner for my family. It's always warm. Great place to conduct a business meeting, they are really nice there.

Woodside Bakery's sour cream bread is the best-tasting white bread. All the pastries are larger than usual pastries and they all taste great. I love raisin bread, too.

This place has thebest fruit tortes I have tried on the peninsula. their scones are also good as are the croissants, the almond and chocolate ones being our favorites. it is not cheap, but well worth the money .

I've had very good experiences with Woodside Bakery. Their staff is really friendly and offers great suggestions when you need to order a last minute cake. I recommend the fruit tart with custard. Every time I order during Christmas they make sure the order is expedited quickly.

As far as baked goods, this is about as good as it gets in the area. Restaurant is nice place for casual lunch, wood fired pizzas are very good and soups and salads usually great also.
