After purchasing several pieces of equipment from Bliss Power Lawn Equipment, I vow to never go back. Their arrogance and lack of customer service have driven me away. I have had two bad experiences that have brought me to this.\nI first bought a commercial Snapper mower from them and then ordered a thatching attachment for it. I paid for the thatcher attachment when I placed the order. A couple of weeks later I was called and told it was in. When I arrived to pick it up, I was told that I needed to pay $40 more because the price went up. Huh? Bait and switch? I asked for my money back.\nMost recently I took the Snapper in for a carburetor tune up. I was told that it would only be two days before it was done. I was not called back. I called after 6 days to ask if I could come pick it up. The guy laughed and said they haven't even looked at it yet and that it had a due date of a further 2 weeks. I was about to leave for vacation and just left it. When I returned home, it had been 4 weeks and they still hadn't touched it. I don't know if they ever had any intention to repair it. I wasn't about to find out. I picked it up and took it somewhere else.\nBottom line: Stay away. They have nice products, but you will regret doing business with them. I know I do.

In Response to Barry K. The mower was brought to shop on 4/14/09. Estimated date ready 5/10/09. We called 5/8/09 for revised estimate. We called back on 5/12/09. Mr K was told the carburetor needed to be replaced for an additional $30.00 over original estimate. He declined and said he would make due with carburetor the way it was. The tune up was done and mower started in front of customer. We can't be held accountable if the customer is unwilling to repair as advised. Barry K. I could not get my Honda lawn mower to start. I managed to get it into the trunk of my car (I am in my 70's) and hauled it down to Bliss'. They promised to do a complete overhaul for $100 plus. They kept it for several weeks and told me I could pick it up. I got it home and it would not start. I called and they said I probably needed a new carburetor for another $100 plus. They could have checked it out or at least returned my money. It was not repaired; they did not know why and did not seem to care that much. I decided I would not deal with them again.
