Coral Tree Cafe

Definitely a place I would recommend for lunch. We had great sandwiches and great side dishes. The service was quick and friendly. You can eat here if you want to linger or need a quick bite.

I visited this restaurant for the first time today (in Encino/Tarzana) and echo all the poor reviews noted on this site, as I had the same experience. Someone needs to put that nice building to better use.

A rarity! Pretty, relaxing place with FREE internet. I was very pleased. Staff was very sweet...perfect for a coffee or sandwich when you are in the traffic-choked area...a little oasis.

PROS: free internet -- quality service and food/drink

Good for late night dinners-- I usually get the steak salad here, which is good, but not exactly bursting with flavor. I think the desserts are better than their regular food.

Great coffee and assorted warm beverages but only so-so food. The menu sounds great but it's not terribly flavorful -- maybe it's just too healthy for my taste. I hear breakfast is better. The outside seating, with large, cushioned benches, is a great place to meet friends on a warm night.
