Wow. These other NEGATIVE reviews are like looking into a MIRROR. I had the same HORRIBLE experience. Took 4 months, NO PHONE CALL when it was ready, and then when I did register a complaint they scolded and THREATENED to keep my jewelry. This place should be reported to a consumer protection group. Too many similar stories. Drucker's circa 1950 has overstayed it's welcome in the neighborhood.

I took a 1930's regulator clock for cleaning and repair. After agreeing to a price, I waited for six months. Upon deciding to move from the area, I notified Drucker's of the need to complete the repair. They were alternately unavailable, dismissive and rude. Five month after moving, I returned to Los Angeles and finally retrieved the clock. After shipping it across country, I learned that the clock still did not work and there is no apparent value to the lengthy delay and the costs I paid, an assessment shared by the clock repair shop to which I have taken it. Buyer beware.

After I purchased a lovely ring for $345 I saw on my credit card bill that they had charged me for $645. The writing on my receipt was very clearly written - there is no way that one could have misread that.
However when I disputed the charge they cooperated without any trouble.

They refused to give me my ring, which was a prepaid repair, because I didn't have my claim ticket. The owner refused to give me my ring unless I had a repair ticket. Then after I tossed something I stepped on onto the counter and asked them to throw it away, they flipped out, assuming I threw it out of anger, and the owner wouldn't let me out. I asked three times for her to release the door lock so I could get out, when finally the repairman said, "You'd better let her out." It was an overall frustrating and infuriating eperience.

How they mistook an underhanded toss for an over-the hand throw out of anger is beyond me.

I simply wanted my jewelry, which they'd had for over two months and never called me to tell me it was ready. Then when I go in without my repair ticket, I'm treated like an idiot, lectured about not having my ticket, then I had to wait 15 minutes for the owner to get off the phone, when all she did was make matters worse. It was a $15 repair on a silver claddagh ring that my boyfriend had bought from them a year earlier.

PROS: Conventiently located on Hillhurst in Los Feliz.
CONS: Condescending, highly unprofessional, overpriced, and downright rude.
