I took my cat to the Nordahl Pet Clinic for an upset stomach and this Vet (Dr. Won Chun) wanted to charge me almost $700 for X-Rays, Blood Tests, etc. I left there paying $150 for some oral medication and what he 'claimed' to be an injection of antibiotics. The only thing I saw him extract was some saline solution from a bag.

Do your pet and your wallet a favor and avoid this place. This Clinic will jack you for every dime you have and diagnose your pet with any problem they can think of.

I recently brought my adopted kitten to "Nordahl Pet Clinic" to get her stitches taken out after being spayed. There was a lump where the stitches were and I also wanted that looked at. The office assistants were really nice and greeted me and my kitten, they even pet her and played with her in the waiting room. I was so happy I had found a great place! However, that exuberance spiraled after the vet came in to see my kitten. He wasn't very happy, I figured maybe it was a bad day for him? He grabbed my kitten by the scruff of her neck ( which is normal) but poked and prodded around her stitches really ROUGHLY. She was yowling and screaming..and I decided to just keep quiet..he was doing his job, I assumed. He didn't even reassure her like most vets do, or calm her down, he treated her like an object, not an animal with feelings. He didn't even talk to her, he just said that she was moving too much and he kept complaining-----She had a hernia, so she had to come back the next day for surgery. When I picked her up...she was terrified of me..wouldn't let me hold her....was really "head shy" when she usually loves to be pet on her head. The vet didn't even offer a "check up" appointment during the two weeks we had to keep the stitches in, plus, they forgot to give me her pain medication and I had to go back to get it.

If you want to give your money to a vet who obviously doesn't care about his job, be my guest. I LOVED the assistants...but the vet on the other hand, I didn't like at all.Plus, I could hardly understand him with his accent. A vet, in my opinion, should care about animals and help them feel comfortable, not be rough and make the situation even worse.

I love this place! I have been to and worked for alot of vets and this is the first place that I know of that willnot try to sell me things I dont need. Dr chung does not have a great bedside manner with people but he is GREAT with the animals. I have been there a few times and he was nice with us but great withthe animals. His office staff denise is amazing very personable and friendly. The prices are very reasonable and they accept care credit. If you are looking for a low cost vet and dont want to be made to feel like dirt if you cant afford something go here. If you want someone to hold your hand and be buddies with you go someplace else and pay the extra money.

Unfortunitely I didn't have a great experience at Nordahl Pet Clinic I spent over 400 dollars on a doctor visit for no real treatment. All I got was doggy prozac and an $80 dollar bag of dog food! I got worked!

If you like handing your money to someone who doesn't care to explain things about your animals to you, this is the place to go!!! They are GREAT with prices, HORRIBLE on EVERYTHING else! My puppy has been there twice now, I still don't think they know my name or my dogs name. The doctor has NEVER introduced himself and does not seem to know ANYTHING about pet health. On my puppy's first visit, I explained to the Dr. she had never been seen and needs everything an eight week old puppy is supposed to get. I was there maybe 15 minutes, she was weighed, temp taken, and roughly given two shots. I was told by the Dr. on his way out of the room, "oh yea, boxers typically have heart problems and at any point her heart can stop and she can fall over dead." NO BLOOD WORK, NO URINE OR POOP TESTING...Just take my money and send me on my way.

Today (my second visit) I was told my dog MIGHT have a paricite, but "I'm not sure" <-- Those were his words!!! He suggested a shot to cure it, but hadn't even confirmed what she had! He said she was WAY to young to do a skin scrape and that is the best way to find out what it is, or if it is. I asked if the shot would hurt her if she did not have the paracite and he SHRUGGED HIS SHOULDERS!!! Then went and asked the front desk girl!!! He said I could wait a week to see if the bumps on her back go away and if they don't he'll do the scrapping then. EVEN THOUGH he JUST told me she was WAY to young for that???

I would NEVER tell anyone to go here. I am now looking for other vets, telling them what happened here and they sugguested I report this place to the BBB!!!
