I am a huge fan of Ethiopian food, but I've had trouble finding a great Ethiopian restaurant in the city. I decided to try this place out recently. We shared one lamb dish and one vegetarian dish. The lamb was wonderful -- so juicy and spicy. However, the chard was soggy and not very well seasoned. Since I love Ethiopian, I will probably come here again and try some of their other vegetarian dishes to see if they are better.

Best Ethiopian that I have had in the city. It seems to be own and run by a woman and her husband who take your orders and give you the food. All of the things they have on their menu are great.

Pros: Location, portion

Cons: quality flavor and bland taste

I can't figure out why this place isn't more crowded. It's a great neighborhood restaurant. The food is tasty, portions are large, the prices are reasonable, and the service is always friendly. The restaurant itself is simple and basic

This is one of my favorite spots in SF. The food is so unique and amazingly fresh. The bread is a crepe like sour-doughish and you use this to pick up various stews, meats, lentils and sauces. My mouth is watering just thinking about

When my husband and I adopted a daughter from Ethiopia, we quickly became relative experts in Ethiopian restaurants -- she wanted injera and wat, and since it was beyond our culinary prowess, we started checking out restaurants quickly. My

This place rocks. It's a wonder it's never more crowded. I guess the SF crowd just isn't too into Ethiopian.

While the decore isn't the best, the food and service rock. This place is very tasty and very inepensive. It's great for groups,
