In ShortFounded in 1901 in Chicago by Charles R. Walgreen Sr., this neighborhood pharmacy has grown to be one of the nation's largest drugstore chains. Each store carries 25,000 different items--from cleaning products to electronics and greeting cards. Store features include a computerized system connecting pharmacies nationwide via satellite, grocery-store food aisles, one-hour photofinishing and an automated phone system for prescription refills and pre-arranged pickup times. I like this branch of this corporate chain. The people who work at this location are generally very nice, and extremely helpful. The pharmacy techs are knowledgeable and willing to help solve problems when they arise. The photo lab people generally do very good work and are helpful, although, I did get a poor batch of pictures back once and they were all stuck together. Prices are good and competetive too, I like the 99 cent egg dozen deal.
