Fred's Mexican Cafe Restaurant

Everytime my family comes down and visits me, we go to Fred's. We love the environment, atmosphere, but most of all the food and its size portion. The meals are huge and you can either order by yourself and have leftovers or share with someone else. Plus, they have "Taco Tuesday" where they have really cheap tacos and margaritas. It's a fun place to go with family and friends.

We go here about once a week! Lunches are great and the Diablo dessert is YUMMY! Don't plan on sharing! Fun and colorful w/a nice Macaw to greet you. Prices are resonable.

This place has good mexican food. The tacos are amazing and they are cheap on taco tuesday. The margaritas are also great. They have a huge margarita menu and the drinks are really big. Fun atmosphere too.

Famous Taco Tuesday in San Diego. $2 Tacos of course! Old Town is always fun. Fred's is a great place to go after work or with a group of friends. There is a nice patio and alot of outdoor seating. PARKING. There is a lot just below Coyote Cafe across the street that says 2 hour parking, but I have spent much more time in that lot and have never had an issue. I dont think a tow truck could even get in there...so you're safe. Try the cheeseburger tacos....its interesting and good. i do have to say that the service last time was slightly disappointing, but you cant complain much when your meal and drinks only come to $8.
