The place is as big as a large safeway with high sealings and fresh air, doesnt even smell like a gym. It is only 2 years old they said so everything is brand new. Huge free weight area and cardio area and they have a bunch of classes. They even have a nutrition program online for free. Great place, best in the san bruno/ s. sf area at least. Yes / No (you must log in or sign up to vote) bally on el camino in SSF By ed s. super clean, great showers, huge workout room with every kind of machine imaginable...we checked all the other places and they were too crowded, dirty and the air was stuffy. we paid in advance for 3 years so no contract ($1075) so for 2 people the price is right too. This particular one I have been to once when I stayed in the area. It has an abundance of exercise equipment, usually packed, but great if you are staying at the airport and need a quick workout. Bally's has a special program where you can work directly with a trainer to fit your exercise and workout needs. The equipment is normally clean and all pieces are in working order. Theprice to belong to this gym is a little pricy compared to the smaller independant gyms seen around town, but overall it is worth the price.
